Hello people, Nooby Nooberson here. New to the Forum (excellent btw) and computer building in general. Decided to give building my own pc a go after a new business partner told me how much more you could get for your money as opposed to buying off the shelf. Anyway, i'm ready to take the plunge and thought that after reading the forum for a good few weeks that this was the place to look for stella advice. Looking for this machine to last me at least two years before i think about upgrading anything, so if you could take this into account that would be great.
I have already bought a case, HDD, and a PSU (listed below) and think i may have made a boo boo with the drive. The rig would be used primarily for gaming and browsing, but would also be used for watching films and downloading and storing music and my photo album (mainly my kids, i'm no David Bailey

ossibly? although i do have some that i consider more than enough for the forseable.
Monitor(s):Again possibly, (22"-24" w/s would be nice) but as above, would be happy to run on the 19" dell that i have for the time being.
Operating System:Yes. Have been leaning towards XP Pro64 bit. Currently running XP Pro32.
Uses:Gaming, Browsing, some office work. Will only be doing one of these at a time, not running multiple applications.
Overclocking: would love to give this a go, never tried before.
