PC performance is terrible by the looks of it

Is it?

CBA to try this but saw someone mitigated the greyness a lot with:
I'm already running a reshade on it, which has mitigated most of the filters. A mix of MagicHDR, some tonemapping/linearity adjustments, bloom reduction, and technicolor2 make this a lot more enjoyable.

:o

Amazes me how many people have their monitors etc. setup wrongly

Yeah sod that, I'd rather a kick in the nads!

Cyberpunk had the same issue and CDPR saw the light and fixed it at an engine level. This will need the same.

@Nexus18 Yeah 100%, I mean I can live with it but I am impressed they've managed to make a space game look this bad lol. Was playing X4 the other day, proper dark that one, you know, like space is.

Blacks are awful, it all looks very washed out, not very far in though and very miffed at no Ultrawide support :( I'll plug on though. wouldn't have bought this if it were not for free AMD promotion.

Yup amazing how they got this so wrong being a space game! Dead space remake ruined me in terms of space and having true black.

FFS playing new world recently and even that manages true blacks correctly......

Anyone noticed that watered reflections on the ground indoors are bugged? This happens with native, FSR, DLSS, 100% render scale etc so it's definitely a reflections implementation bug with the game...
yea mine were the same, I think they are bugged or someone is crap at making the glistening effect of a wet surface

DLSS mod is working just fine on the gamepass version btw.

DLSS looking far better and also performs better too than fsr 2  Can't believe amd still can't get their own sponsored official games to look good with FSR 2, cp 2077 still the best implementation ffs.
Does it work on the steam version? I can't get it to load

Seeing people getting 30fps on a 3080 using FSR,and one that said they can't even get a stable 60fps on a 4090.There's a video on YouTube as well, and a 6800 is around 45fps with FSR

Edit: found it

There must be a way to sort this out, it looks washed out on my OLED also!!

They should probs turn FSR off as it actually lost frames for me! Playing with no scaling now, native at 4k and above 80fps. Lots of variables involved

I've still got most things on Ultra/High, set the 1440p, 80% res with FSR enabled and sitting 60-100 range from what I've seen so far. Still not far into it though. 5800x3d and a 3080 10GB

Was going to look at the settings again once things had settled down and people had agreed the best options and patches/mods came out.
