Another bug (not Covid). Using a controller the quickest way to get to your missions is hold start which takes you directly to the map and then the button for missions, however if I go in that way I can’t select a mission :p

I tried this on the 7900 XT and the RTX 4080 and the 7900 XT is running about 10% - 15% faster. This is with native 4K resolution and almost max settings. So much for the usual Nvidia suspects lol’ing that an AMD sponsored game runs better on Nvidia.

I have a suspicion some of them don’t have the game and just want to rag on anything AMD for the trolls.

Beth really did miss a trick with not having a correct colour palette for this game. Also, in some places the game can look great but other times, it just looks downright poor, like PS 3 textures.

jeez i also was covid positive on thursday, feel terrible and weak, asthma doesnt help, it must be on the rise again

Im suspect you’re correct , up 1.35 % in the last 7 days ! New variant around .

Time to see if I can find a cure in the Starfield universe.

Also, I tried out redux again, be very wary with them presets from nexus mods etc. imo, it can look great for the first 2 areas especially the mining area you start of in but afterwards e.g. when you get to mars, the colours look downright wrong, each planet appears to have its own filter so means essentially you would have to adjust the redux to work with each area. Best thing to do is probably just to adjust only the brightness and contrast sliders and probably per a planet/area. I'm going to use nvidia freestyle filter as it allows you to save presets which means can easily switch between them to suit the environment.

I won't be getting the game until DLSS is released with it. Yes I know you can mod it but I'll wait for the official release. It seems pointless getting it without it as I game in 4k with a 3090.

First impressions...

*** console FOV ( yeh yeh I know can be modded )
*** lighting, blacks should be black!
*** WOKE, THEY/THEM - SHE/HER ?! - Why not nothing, just select either a female or male, don't even need to say anything!

Baldurs Gate 3 is going to kick this games arse in the ratings :D

Yep baldurs gate 3 is now game of the year, Starfield won't get any votes

Careful mate, you'll be getting requests from every tom, dick and harry asking for a pic with their name to send to their boss to get a week off to play. :D
I've produced my own positive test too, heads banging, I've only managed to play 88mins I think before my eyes started to go on fire.

I'm gutted as an Nvidia user that can't get in game DLSS.:p

I think they're just really committed to the 'hard sci-fi' aesthetic - I mean, space is mostly pretty *dull*
