The engine they are using is the reason why it runs so bad.

It is not doing anything graphically that is cutting edge. There is no RT or even direct storage in use.

A game like Ratchet and Clank looks 100 times better than this using all the latest bells and whistles and runs superbly in comparison to this.

I imagine its based on the same engine they used in Skyrim just updated for 2023.

Bethesda games have always been like this.

They need to write a new engine from scratch for the next game.

Indeed.

When you think that Rockstar managed to get something like RDR2 running on an Xbox one, there is no excuse for this to run so poorly on pc machines that have absurdly more power than that.

I don't think anyone's ever doubting that one, but thanks.

Have you actually played it on your system? Or are you just quoting bs youtubers are saying?

It'd depend whether it's a twin/triple/quad rotor anyways, but I imagine you were thinking of the 13b which hence it's name is a 1.3L that identifies to the LGBTQ+ as a 2.6L :D

Ha try being 6ft8 with size 15 feet and hands like shovels mate, I cant fit in a rex even if I bolt my buckets to the floor, unless I run a gangster lean or do a leg delete :cries:

While not that large i know being above average size, 6ft4 size 12.

Yes the typical Mazda RX type Rotaries is what i had in mind, i'm an 80's child, so i don't like anything post 2010, i'm also one of those old people who can rant about all controls disappearing in to a sub menu on the dash tablet, i hate those things full stop, i blame Elon Musk for that....
Ok, in a modern car while driving at, erm? real UK motorway speeds adjust the cabin temperature to toasty but not too hot, i'm not even going time you how long it will take you to do that, i'm just going to ask you to do it without crashing the car. If you can do achieve that i will concede those tablets in cars are not such a bad idea.

Yeah iirc 6ft4-6 is pushing it even with a super low rail fixed bucket but doable. As stock seats iirc 6ft2-4MAX fml!
Yeah man, I wont for example listen to hip hop past 2006 if that and IF I do it has to be by one of the OG's and not a cash in soul-less pos track.

What'd you mean you don't like being blinded by a million laggy touchscreens with finger print marks all over it and your 'piano black' or farbon trim panels everywhere whilst taking your eyes off the road to try and make stuff work?

You're a fool!

I have not played. Just quoting bs youtubers.

Are you saying it doesn't run poorly?
I'm getting 60+ fps with almost max settings which is nice and smooth, so... Define poorly. :D

It has issues, I do feel some in this thread are blowing it out of proportions or their expectations were on the more unrealistic side.

We've also had no patches yet.

Yes, as all my previous posts and others have stated, they're lying badly and clearly trying to cause the usual new games out it's F'ed/glitches/crashes/subliminal reverse psychology buy X card instead without mentioning it but keeping it in every shot/usage scenario with their 40+ OLED 'daily driven' setup.

This is exactly what happened with TLOU, and as I said before I have ran that on both my AMD gpu system and my main rig with the 4070 and NEITHER had issues not a single 1, not even with the original release pre 1.10 patch... So it's bs mate!

Just like when those idiots would not wait for the shaders to compile then play TLOU and screenshot a glitch and call the game broken. Sad really, these pathetic clickbait misinformation re-sharing trolls have nothing better to do! But hey I guess it gets people arguing pointlessly for years on forums/reddit/social media/youtube comments eh lmfao

Its the usual spread of information. Someone says xyz and then a 1000 people read it and take it as gospel who then spread said info around without having even played the game for themselves! It's nuts.

It defo needs optimisations but its far from unplayable. I do wonder if we'll get a patch on the official launch date for standard users?

Also I'd like to add, I haven't even tried to see if there's a driver update for my card, like ever... Since installing it on the 26th july (think I put august last time by mistake lmao) but yeah, I bought it, it arrived, fitted it, did a clean win10 install, installed the driver from 8 days before I got it (fluke by handy) and haven't even thought about drivers since, so IF people are having issues with a newer driver (if one exists) that could be the issue, all I know is from DAY ONE release mines been mint and maxed out 1440p is 52-60 fps with no dynamic resolution scaling or 90-110fps with the dlss2.0 mod...

And i've 'only' got a 5700x and I've underclocked my 4070 as I have a hardcore undervolt so it's silent/no fan spin/runs cold and uses 105-135w max even if i use rt or 4k in games...
