Wanna bang?

He keeps going on about No Mans Sky though. So he can't really care about the RPG aspects,NPCs,etc - he wanted an exploration game with none of that. That is No Mans Sky. Yet he didn't like Fallout 76 which was literally that and had a huge map and no real NPCs(that was the emptiest game I played).
Yeah, just seems like a textbook shill clickbait moanfest poor me review.

Cohh has said he wouldn't rush the main story before everything else.

There are spoilers a bit in this. Although I managed to skip the main chunk so happily nice and blind still.

Ahh, so maybe I should ignore the people I keep seeing saying to do the main story asap first of all. Handy.

Surely it will? I have a 5700x but a 4070, how bad would it be though jokes aside if that 'slight' performance gain between us that you don't think is worth it turns out in reality to be worlds apart when it comes to actual gaming/what can run at X settings/res...
As you know what mine can achieve, jokes aside I'll be very interested to see what you get out of it in comparison to my experiences my brother ;)
Oh I went all the way down that rabbit hole earlier haha, and am replaying it now whilst typing this, ridiculous nonsense I love it, I still think the best one is the Preston one, although those Assaultron and Protectron ones are hilarious too, and the Shaun song

I will give it a try,but we all know there will be some texture mods in the next few months. Not sure 8GB will cut it - its already a bit marginal with Fallout 4 unless I manage it.

Got a couple of more hours in. Managed to steal another ship and sell it. Also finally left NA, although there is still things to be done there I wanted to get into space and go to our solar system.

Visited earth, I wonder what happened there? After exploring that for a short while went to Mars where I called it quits for the night.

Total playtime around 14 hours now. Level 12. Not bad for a weekend :D

Just ignore anything in a youtube video/posted by shills and just get it and play it yourself, the way/pace you want to, and enjoy it mate :)
Trouble was that there are SO many people saying that you miss out on stuff if you dont rush the main story first, even more troublesome was that none of those people, be them youtubers or journalists, were saying exactly why. So its handy to hear from someone who has completed the main story that there isnt really anything in the NG+ that you miss out on if you dont rush the main story first.

Glorified looter shooter.. Yep! Skyrim WOW'd me, this hasn't :( I'm still playing it though, but meh

Although I have only played a couple of hours of the game, I found myself agreeing with Mac. I was hoping for Elite dangerous mixed with Skyrim or fallout. What it actually is, is Skyrim/fallout with a space skin and less immersion. Really disappointed. Plus it runs like utter **** whilst looking **** at the same time.

I really don't get all these positive reviews.

Try and play it on a decent pc instead on a potato pc ;)

Even a steam deck can play it lmao https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCJ1ryTldCI

What hardware have you got mate? Apologies if it's in your sig, but I'm viewing this on my phone.

FWIW I'm only using 5.7-6gb native 1440p ultra, so there's hope for you at a lower res.

I have a qHD monitor! The problem is its quite clear the textures need some extra work,so I am thinking what the modders might start pushing stuff out over the next few months. I might just hold on,but if a deal comes up I might look at an upgrade. Also as I like building stuff in Fallout 4,I will probably do the same in Starfield....probably will eventually need a CPU upgrade. But that can wait.

Ah you've got no chance then with that res/gpu :/
