I'll honestly never understand how Bethesda gets a pass for all their ****. Buggy as ****, graphically meh at best most of the time and some of the worst combat systems in any game I've ever played that genuinely rival the NES era. That's on top of my burning hatred for their open world design that's infested series like Zelda and Souls.

30 FPS on a latest gen console with no way of dipping the settings to get any higher is laughable.

Haha. Probably true :D

Seen it for £37 so far, temping, but £35 would be the sweet spot.
£7.99 is the sweet spot with game pass

Zelda has been doing open world games since OOT.

Or do you just mean the design of the world?

I've been very dubious on this game for a while, especially since we first saw the game play ages ago as it looked clunky, boring, and not fun at all, but that presentation a couple of days ago has turned me around and I think it looks excellent. I just hope it isn't a buggy mess at launch which would be classic Bethesda :p

That's only worth it if you play more than a dozen games a year.

If its just one or two titles u get from game pass then that's not worth it.

Me personally I only buy maybe 5 games a year if that across Playstation and pc platforms as well.

Nah. For that amount can get a 3 months pass probably. I am well aware of it. But I somehow don't get as much pleasure playing on game pass compared to steam.

Each to their own, I put a couple hundred hours each in to Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV/76 and about 1000 into Fallout 4.

The latter particularly when combined with modding is up there on my list of best games ever.

The latest video look way better than the one they showed a while back.

Every Bethesda game has been a mess on release, so I'm expecting this to be in patch hell for six months at least.

My big worry is that it will just be too annoyingly complicated, like fallout 4. I can't just "head north" and see what happens, I will need to fly ships, possibly crew them, and build bases. Then I'll need to break the immersion by flying to another planet, which apparently I will need to scan before landing.

Ah well, at least the recommended specs look achievable. Oh, you can double them and add 1,000? Gah!

Just watched the 45 minute in depth video, must admit does look good, been a while since I even got remotely excited about a game.

My only fear, is that they have gone a little No Mans Sky, which I am concerned about.

Don't get me wrong, NMS was okay, but there is only so many proceedurally generated contentless biomes you can look at before you hit a massive wall. They need to have the content in.

Exactly. I want to be able to play at my own pace when I get the time. Can pause, save and come back when I have more time.

I hear you, i fall into this category too. I need to walk away every so often, change the pace or just take a break from it all and do something else. Cannot sit there for hours and hours just playing the same game unless its something im really really getting into.

First time I've ever ordered a 'collectors edition' (Constellation) in my life.

I would normally rebel against early access premiums, but I actually fancy that watch+case and think they may be worth £150+ (to me). Not sure how much the Shattered DLC will be worth, but assume no where near enough to justify the £25 premium on the key sites for the enhanced edition.
