***The Official Starfield Thread*** (As endorsed by TNA)

I’m working from home but there’s a bit of a lull at the moment and I’m sorely tempted to fire it up :D

Zero gaming for me untill summer goes away for the year.

Pc in a loft. It's schorchio atm.

I can only game on average from about Sep - May ish each year.

June, July and August are mostly right offs

Depends how hot May and Sep get as well.

Not even Star Citizen makes true scale planets, they're simply to large.

You can land anywhere you like but it creates the map chunk, not a whole planet. While I agree it makes it FAR more immersive, what's even more immersive is being able to fly to a planet, through the atmosphere and land wherever you like. That's not what this game is though. :)

They're not to big to actually render them, just that they chose those sizes. Bigger would have been fine as well, is just procedurally generated anyway with some POI.

I know, in Glasgow as well

New build flat, large windows and at the top of a hill with no shade so the sunlight just cooks this building all day long. Brutal in summer.

Man i would consider getting air conditioning in the house if that was the case. No way i could live like that, i really dislike heat in a house, its really uncomfortable.

We have one of those cheapo £250 free standing AC units. It does the trick and can cool down our rooms to ~17c Until last night it spent the last few weeks in the shed with me but the bedroom was scorching last night
