So no one has come a cross the colony ship yet? You guys are in for a treat with that one :D

I've only just reached Akila , I've been doing quests for New Atlantis and Mars, almost done with what i could find though im sure im still missing loads. Did the Mantis mission last night, that was a blast! Really enjoyed that one, finding out who Mantis was and rummaging through all her stuff. I wish i had skill points in lockpicking though, i feel like i missed quite abit.

Came across it quite early on following another quest, possibly from NA. Absolutely loved that quest. No spoilers, but you’ll probably know what I mean when I say I’m glad I had saved some money up by that point :p

Yep. I had 240K so was not a problem. Hope you managed to persuade them to lower the price ;)

Yeah brilliant quest. The game gets better and better imo. For me anyway.

I am doing Mantis one right now actually :)

My lock picking is on Expert, nearly Master (I have a skill point stored up waiting to level it) so I should be fine then :D

Want me to let you know what you missed?

I ran out of ammo on that one so had to sprint around the base, got the suit and the ship but left 4-5 Robots alive lol.

I was only about lvl 8 when I did it, maybe less.

Oh yeah level 8 would be a nightmare, i managed the human npc's quite easily at level 15 but the bots weren't so easy.

Yeah the Humans were easy, bots were not.

I was opening a door and shooting them, then I closed the door and healed/reloaded....until one robot glitched through a closed door and smashed my face in, I literally just thought "ahhh Bethesda there you are"

I stopped playing before I got out of the mineshaft lift to fix the blacks problem. Gosh it looked awful. Like playing on a very old monitor in the sunlight. But I have an OLED. Really disappointing there appears to be no HDR implementation too. It could look so great on a game like this.
I used the LUT mod to fix the blacks. Looks sooo much better.

Yeah I restarted that mine segment a few times because it didn't look black it looked more orangey-brown. Very disappointed. My laptop has a MicroLED display but whilst it looks like this no point even putting it into the OLED.

Honestly, a space game with no proper HDR and rubbish blacks... What on earth in space is going on?

Quite terrifying when they lunge at you .

Heh, I did :)

I like the lock pick mini game, master locks are a decent challenge and I feel well pleased with myself when I crack them :D

Any mention on any upcoming patches?

Think I was about 14. I also didn’t work out the code, so took the level 40 or so turrets on :D

You'll be fine with Expert, i dont think i came across any chests or safes that were Master. Let us know what you get and if its worth revisiting lol.

There were I few I think, I should probably go back now I’ve levelled that up.

Remember to reroll the armour, I’m gutted I didn’t have the encumbrance perk. Got some stealth rubbish :p. I’ve found better armour since, but I’d still be using that perk.

Yeah faced a few now and quite a few on 1 quest alone, was a nightmare! I didn't realise the bstards could jump, so firing from high ground made no difference, i just ran for my life

Is there any point where you have to actually engage with them? Don't want to make a lazy reference but when I played Fallout I'd always just avoid the Deathclaw's where I could

Yes you do, they are built into some quests and you cannot avoid them. I have yet to come across any in the wild yet though.

Spent a while yesterday playing around with Outposts and I'm frustrated with them overall. Setting up cargo links and storage is all Very basic with no control expect all or nothing, without building multiple cargo links that is. Want to export multiple resources and have each go into it's own storage on the other end? As far as I can tell, you have to have multiple cargo links setup. The cargo links seem to pair with each other 1-1, 2-2 etc. This way when you create the outpost link (red line) from the incoming cargo link to your storage, there's only one resource for it to move.

I must be missing something with the transfer containers though. They hold 200 items and let you access those items directly from your ship. However I don't see a way of limiting what they have or making them provide access to All outpost storage. They'll fill up with the first 200 items and that's all you'll have access to.

The outpost skills are also tier 3 which is quite an investment.

Due to being called out for work last night i only managed to get an hour :(

Spent most the time looking round the mining camp and done the first 'fight'. Looking forward to getting into it some more tonight. Need to figure out how to do the mods though, the colours are really 'wishy washy'
