Who do you think is buying the game and releasing the thousands of mods then if it's not something "fans actually want", that's got to be the worst take I've seen and there has been some right clangers.

Nahhhhhh nobody wants this. Especially not the 1 millions concurrent players on launch day. I really hope you don't do any kind of data analysis.

Thats a whole lotta 10 out of 10s !

Due to being called out for work last night i only managed to get an hour :(

Spent most the time looking round the mining camp and done the first 'fight'. Looking forward to getting into it some more tonight. Need to figure out how to do the mods though, the colours are really 'wishy washy'

I noticed that too. It has a dusty or faded look and ambient lighting in dark places is too high.

Oh yeah level 8 would be a nightmare, i managed the human npc's quite easily at level 15 but the bots weren't so easy.

What I'm hearing here is my level 6 ass should turn around and come back later :D

Friend told me about that mission so headed straight there when I could, my save from when I called it a day last night was just after landing there & killing a few pirates...

Go install the LUT mod. Theres a mod discussion topic here. It's really simple.

29 hours since Sunday lol.

Im really enjoying it now its picking up a lot after a slow start.

The below is "sort of" a spoiler but something I bascially regret doing I think.

Basically I progressed the Crimson Fleet quest line a bit early I think, so started doing it, realised it was a rabbit hole I didnt want to go down yet, so carried on the withe main quest line. The problem is, several stages of the main quest line after take you through areas full of crimson fleet, which I am guessing are supposed to be fighting areas. However, because I started the crimson fleet quest, I was on non-hostile terms with them, so in those areas I literally just casually walked through the entire stage to the end. Which somewhat ruined those parts. I am now trying to get trough the pirate questline

Oh ffs I think the same thing is going to happen to me. I started that quest line within a couple hours by mistake as well.

I never seem to have enough ammo.

The ammo situation is a little annoying, there’s so many different types so it would be good if the game could indicate what guns in your inventory it’s used for before picking it up. I know it has no mass in the game so i just pick it all up but it would be handy to assist in knowing what to favourite when getting into a dungeon/fight area. Minor gripe i know but would be a good QoL addition.

It's a good idea to visit shops and clinics/chemists to buy all the most used ammo and medpacks/trauma kits you can find. I ended up spending an evening trying to clear out a Spacer base as part of the main quest and had almost no health and was using a low power weapon.

You should also never pass up picking up all ammo as it does not have any impact on carrying weight.

Heh, I did :)

I like the lock pick mini game, master locks are a decent challenge and I feel well pleased with myself when I crack them :D

Any mention on any upcoming patches?

Think I was about 14. I also didn’t work out the code, so took the level 40 or so turrets on :D
I knew the code, walked over the first letter then thought I'd better quicksave....for some reason I walked back to the start to quicksave, brainfart there as it took that as me putting a wrong letter in.

So yeah I took on the turrets too lol.

I still can't figure out how to repair my ship in flight, it says all you need is ship parts and then press "0" (default key) to repair.

On foot it works fine with medpacks but whilst flying around I press 0 and nothing happens, my ship has tons of ship parts, unless they need to be in your personal inventory???? Otherwise I dunno what doing wrong.

Probably for the best as they’re a bloody nuisance for the most part. Went back to the main quest yesterday and now have gotten rid of Sarah. Now i have some cowboy clown tagging along instead.

I'm only a few hours in, and about to restart (again), but I found the robot quite useful for extra storage and in fights, his laser took out a few enemies for me.

I mean you could attempt it... nothing stopping you from speed running it haha!
