PC people - are you playing mouse and keyboard or controller?

I'm finding mouse and keyboard actually a bit awkward for all the menus and management for some reason(and also for the space piloting) I prefer mouse and keyboard for the FPS bit though, but I feel like a controller might actually work better for everything else.

Mouse and keyboard all the way. Might dust the controller off when I feel the need to go ship hunting.

PS4 controller using DS4Windows so it identifies as a 360 controller

Been using an xbox controller exclusively. Works well for the most part - i fell away from PC gaming for a few years to go back to consoles so I find it a pain sometimes to use a kb/m now for gaming - unless it’s an RTS or something like world of tanks.

Xbox controller. Feels like it was designed to be played with a controller TBH, but I play all my PC games with a controller anyway.

Sofa gamer here!

What speed M2 are you using?
I have a 3500mbs gen 4 and loading times are 3 to 8 seconds which I'm happy with.

Samsung 990 I think it is.

There is the odd load where it takes a couple of seconds but most transitions are literally a single second when entering doorways.

This is a perfect fix compared to adjusting the ini files, using these settings:

Completed the Mantis chain this morning and it was great fun.

Not sure it's been mentioned ehre but if you build a landing pad with ship builder at your outpost you gain access to most ship parts. My bases are running well but I'm not doing much with them now, was fun building and setting up though.

I mean when you look at the guys posting history it’s a shower of ****, he must hate life. Even I’ve not gotten that grumpy.
 dude you have 44 thousand posts on a dead forum. Lets not throw stones hey.
You clearly are not winning at life, when you spend most of it on here or sat in your space suit during a heat wave playing a bang average looter shooter. Good game.

Controller all the way.

I regret not having played many Bethesda games before this, i keep getting tricked into side quests by the main mission NPC's

I'm loving the game, i don't care about its comparative limitations, i will say tho even i already having low expectations of that am surprised at just how micro bubble instanced it is.
The graphics are very "meh" so the GPU crushing performance is a mystery to me.

M+KB, controller feels better for a lot of things except aiming which will always stop me using one.
