Can anyone point me to some good side quests ? I'm at level 7.

So far, everything I've found has been tedious little fetch side quests that make no sense.

Like, I found a shady art dealer and he quite happily wants me, a random bloke he just met, to go and pick up his art for him and bring it back.

Then I had to go and get a girl a cappuccino...

Then I had to run around the Well like a moron flicking some circuit breakers for ages.

All of them made harder as there is no map for places like New Atlantis so if I need a shop for something I can't remember where it is or how to get there and I can't place a waypoint or anything.

It all just feels a little twee compared to some of the more recent, better RPGs.

I was starting to think the same at that stage, but honestly once you get through these some of the missions are great. The first mission for the UC Vanguard line (after passing the exam) is really good/tense.

Thanks. I'll try that next.

Perhaps I should try more of the main story first as well.

Loving the game. Only one frustrating thing.... is the oxygen capacity when I have to travel long distances on foot, the C02 builds up and I have to stop moving for like 30 seconds, and keep repeating this over and over until I get to where I need to. Any solution for this ?

I cannot fast travel to my ship either as I'm " carrying too much " where do you craft items ?
get a no weight mod. (also unlimited credits)

lol that's been a term used on console 'mods' for years on jailbroken consoles etc lmao.
I remember reading it thinking how is a trainer a mod.

Just using my infinite health, credits, weight, max powers, infinite ammo mod to help balance the game a bit.

2h later: meh game is too easy, bored.

OK, before I completely mad please help. I bought Starfield today, it's great etc, but right now I want to punch the game (back in the day we could when games came as a physical item). I accepted a mission from a terminal on Jemison to kill someone on another planet in the same system but, for the life of me, I cannot work out how to travel between planets. I'm hoping this is just me being too damn hot, and sweaty, and missing something totally obvious but right now I can't work it out.

What am I doing wrong? I just want to get to Chawla.

I highly recommend doing the Freestar ranger line as the rewards will make exploration much more enjoyable. Then just have a rummage around, ive now randomly come across a party cruise, space grandma and Valentine in orbit - i won’t say anymore about them (other than they’re just nice little moments in your travels).

Hail random ships and see what happens, sometimes they give you little nuggets of info. Land on random planets, i discovered an odd base with stacks of loot and a decent scrap earlier - i also accidentally jumped to the wrong planet today and was hailed by a base which has led to a pretty lengthy side mission/extended scrap. Had to save that one part way thru as the other half demanded i stop for dinner.

Essentially just fanny about and see what pops up!

On Xbox controller

On Xbox controller, tap X to set course then hold X to travel.

Yup.
I must have almost all the legendary weapons/armour and it's completely OP, like massively OP, so much so I reverted back to standard weapons.

Starfield is the new Crysis

Regardless of your GPU etc it doesn't utilize it enough! <- Truth

We are dealing with a POORLY optimized game! <- Truth ( Todd is a lying **** )

It definitely doesn't. My 4070ti has barely put it's fans on, even in this heat. That's at 1440p ultra and with a 12700k too.

Performance is actually ok to be fair, it very rarely drops under 60 causing me to notice anything and that's almost exclusively in new Atlantis.

However my card is not drawing anywhere near its power limit and barely needs it's fans!
