Nexus mods is a weird place - it's got wall-to-wall pornography but gets on its soapbox when people want to remove things from their games that are politically inflammatory.

'Tolerance' only goes one way it seems :rolleyes:

I guess , if you're a mod creator, its down to supply and demand. If there are enough people asking for it then I guess as a creator thats cause enough to make a mod for it. I've no idea how many downloads the mod had to say whether or not there was a lot of demand for it. Its just sort of odd to me for Nexusmods to remove that mod, as its a single player game and I thought the whole premise and often touted "pro" of mods is that people can play a game in the way they want (however odd the want might be). Also seems odd that they allow literally hundreds of various nude mods for games but then draw the line at this one.

Not a mod I'd ever use but just seems an odd line in the sand for them to draw given the above.

Grow up, what kinda person argues over hardware? BTW im in the Nvidia camp. GPU and a GSYNC PANEL. just to rustle your jimmies.
 
I wonder how it works in game then, did they just use something like if body type a then he/him else she/her?
Otherwise how does the game know what to refer to your character as? Wouldn't want someone having a meltdown over being mis-gendered in a video game.
Agree though it is odd how lewd anime posters that look like kids is allowed but that mod isn't.

I set mine to 95 for ultrawide, its a good sweet spot. 110 on some defaults on mods is way too much, makes everything look fish eyed.

Can I ask what you rights have had infringed by virtue of the fact you have to ignore that you can pick "they" as a pronoun? Demanding intolerence is tolerated is not as noble a cause as you think it is.

It basically means that any dialogue where you are identifed as a gender, is now to your preferrence. What it boils down to is that some people are upset that another choice is avialable that some random person somewhere else in the workd might pick. Is is quite literally absurd because it does not force you to chose "they", any more than it forces you to chose "her".

Don't make assumptions - I rolled my eyes when I saw the pronouns options but honestly, I couldn't care less.

The mod is daft, theres no doubt of that, but its even more daft that nexusmods chose to make a stance on not allowing a mod that removes that feature but continues to allow nude mods (including a mod which makes children nude in a game), thats the bit that I think is bizarre, their stance on whats allowed and whats not. To be entirely honest, considering the mods that they do allow on the site, to remove this one and publicly announce its removal and why simply smacks of them virtue signalling rather than having a genuine care of what mods are on the site.

The free one on Nexus crashes a lot.

A guy on Guru3d has put together a repository of all the DLSS mods for different games including the paid for DLSS 3 FG mod.

In the zip you want the one called Starfield-DLSS3-FG-Beta06-Hotfix1-Working.zip.

It's pretty good cos he added an option to disable FG in menus and loading screens where most of the crashing happens. Not perfect though as you might still get the odd crash, but nowhere near as many as the Nexus mods version.

But bethesda stuff wasn't an exclusive till now. That's my point man. So that IS scummy to screw over previous fans on the ps when it was on the ps3/4 with previous games...
So comparing forza/rismo/TLOU isn't realy comparable as they've always been native to only that platform?

Either way it doesn't personally effect me, so I'm not biased, I tend to buy all the consoles and have pc's... So I don't have a problem, but I get why it would annoy loyal previous owners that expect their favorite developers to continue to make games for their hardware (like they did with past games)

Calm down dude? It was a blatant joke, to take the micky out of the people that actually do this and mean it? I'ma AMD owner with both AMD and Nvidia gpu's in both systems?

It's literally acknowledged throughout this thread in my posts along with the spec of my main system in my sig having amd and nvidia hardware?

From your posts on this thread you don't seem very happy? Maybe log off here and have a chill man? Not trolling, just seems a bit tense?

Every one of his posts is negative and combative, that one was actually quite tame. Don’t worry though, he has no interest in this game or forum, so hopefully will take his homophobia and childish attitude elsewhere.

Back on topic, does anyone know if every companion has their own quest? What do we gain from them ‘liking’ us?

My game runs flawlessly with the DLSS3 mod but if I install a reshade as well (tried a few) it crashes frequently, so I'm stuck with an ugly looking game

Thanks mate, I mean I'm not the best with words but I thought it was pretty blatant how humorous that was intended considering I literally have both amd and nvidia in my signature on here and have clearly expressed my views on the whole troll/bias nonsense mindset etc throughout this thread.
