Love how the most vocal 'hater' on here has completed it before those having more enjoyment. Beggars belief that one
"I just wanted to make sure it was really bad all the way through honest"
Ce in you're surely smarter than that? This game has 1000 hours of side content.
Can you not work out how someone might finish the main quest quicker than someone enjoying it to do a lot more of the side quests?
It's really basic to work that out, but I imagine you know this, and just want to point and laugh that someone doesn't enjoy this game. Rather sad.
Finally finished the main quest. The last boss fight...
Let's just say it was of the same quality as the rest of the main quest.
Funny I just finished the main quest too about an hour ago. We must have been neck and neck as we raced to the finish. I continued to see what this ng+ was about, neat idea but the game really doesn't give any reason to do it again.
I liked the idea of "multiple" endings, but like mass effect, it felt a bit pointless at this point.
My views. A better engine, far far less loading, far less fast travel, far more need for space. Far more fun things to do.
I think thars what zelda gets so right. They are constantly thinking, how can we make this a fun game. I don't feel that to be the case from starfield.
Fast travel to generic planet, land 800m from temple. Walk to temple. Float for no reason to 10 different bits of light, for no reason. Get new "item" you'll never use. Do this straight away again and again and again and again.
Really Bethesda?
This is something I appreciate may be hard to implement, but I'd really love a Bethesda game where you make significant changes to the world as you progress through it. Like siding with team a over b towards the start, it completely changes how a city ends up being, maybe one means the citizens are more free, another more controlled. A world ends up being destroyed completely (only works if theres just a small amount of worlds, say 10 in total, so that rhe impact is felt) team members that then against you etc.
I just wish you could feel like you touch the world more.
I don't regret my time playing starfield. I definitely rushed towards the end to get it done as I have a long to do list of real world stuff I'd put off to get this done. I enjoyed some, disliked more than I wished. I wish it could be better, but have changed my mind some what and can see mods helping bring this up to a worthy game.
Star ships ffs would have been nice. Bases in spaces surely isn't too much to ask for.
