Game has had 10 million players so far:

The internet boycott and review bombing has all gone according to plan!
As great as it is, I still refer to my earlier post, what exactly IS a "Starfield Player" , until they actually define what constitutes that its very difficult to use it effectively as a statistic (sadly many statistics are purposefully designed to not explain the statistics behind them)

Is a Starfield Player someone who has logged in and played within a recent timespan (say within the last week)

Is a Starfield Player someone who has logged in and played the game for a minimum of X hours total at any time since release, even if they have subsequently never played it since.

Is a Starfield Player someone who has logged in and played, for any amount of time, even if only for 5mins total, at any time since release, even if they have subsequently never played it since.

Is a Starfield Player someone who has downloaded the game on gamepass, even if they've never actually then played it.

As is often the way with "marketing speak", the term Starfield "Player" is purposefully vague.

Also I have managed not to spot this chest somehow... Does it count when you are at tables etc as 'in inventory'?

And have now checked. Unfortunately what's in the chest is not picked up in the workstation, at least not if you going to cook some food as I tried that. Which I think might been a miss by them ? After all, the kitchen and the chest is in the Captains Quarters module so one would have thought they be linked ??

You'll have to spend more skill points to build bigger ships something like this! Cost allots of money

I love how this is basically 4 small turbos mounted to 2 socket set boxes with some scaffolding balanced on top with some map gas sat behind it :D

It’s been said a few times already but player numbers were never going to be an issue for a massively hyped Bethesda game.

Can’t say I’ve read much about boycotting the game or review bombing either. You’ll always get a minority who shout the loudest but I genuinely think the user scores for this game are about right. It’s clearly no masterpiece or their best ever game so a 6-7/10 is fine.

Just finished the Crimson side quests. That was fun. Especially the last two missions. Hearing Kryx audio logs cracked me up. Well deserved.

I naturally sided against the pirates. Was a lot of fun going into the key and killing all pirates that you spent time with on the key. I did not see the dude from the first mission though. He wanted revenge as I got him kicked out, I guess he may turn up at some point randomly which will be fun.

Now I think I have finished all major side quests or one could say faction side quests.

UC Vanguard
Crimson Fleet
Freestar Collective
Ryujin

Don't think there are anymore major ones and rest are smaller ones on planets which are in my activity mission list. I will leave those for after I finish the main mission.

Going to resume the main missions now :D

Are you still enjoying it, or do you hate it, but can’t stop playing? :p

Level 35 now, and I've still to pursue the main quest. I've taken a Skyrim-esque approach to the game; explore, build my character, and try to "live" in the world Bethedsa have created. It's not working...Although I'm enjoying it overall, there are far too many issues that persist in pulling me out of immersion. I won't go into details, as to avoid spoilerific content, but there is no way that (for example) a crash site on one planet should be identical to one in another system; right down to the placement of loot / items. I don't recall such repetition being an issue in FO3/4 or Skyrim. Also, the whole modular ship building thing is doing my nut in. My ship looks like it was constructed by a blind lego enthusiast.

Yeah. Need to look past a lot of stuff to enjoy it. Lucky I have no issues with that. But loads of dumb/lazy choices made with this one for sure.

Got the ship from the design side mission. It’s freaking massive, i crashed it into the ship yard several times after undocking it and had to repair the thing instantly. Also when i entered it i fell down a hatch, sprained my ankles and got lost trying to find the cockpit until i remembered to use my scanner

There’s a design side mission?

Had a great session this evening. Not sure why, just really enjoyed, I did the mantis quest and carrying on with crimson.
Also made a ship that looks half decent but need some better skills.

I'm quite interested in making my own mod for this just to mess about in (like making a puzzle outpost like mantis lair) not sure where to start as not really done any since world builder or whatever it was called to make counterstrike levels.

Can you stop being so positive, there's a Reddit thread saying you're a liar?

:D ;)
