This game really needs a map, I have a quest at Pioneer Tower and I need a map to show me exactly where it is as there are no other indicators.

Yes - the 'maps' in this game are pretty useless - I ended up using the scanner view a lot to see where the hell I was supposed to go in a bunch of missions (on that topic - why do the directional indicators disappear so you have to keep spamming the scanner??)

In an ideal world, you'd be able to ask an NPC for directions to a location and they would respond with something along the lines of "head west, cross over the bridge, go past Rogers Clothing store, take the 2nd right and you'll find it just past the large tree"

Now that would be some cool game design

I'm getting thoroughly peed off with the amount of quest bugs in this game that can't be completed.

I'm also stuck on the main quest because my scanner doesn't show distortions on planet Proxycon III, so I can't find the source of the anomaly

That and/or just load of the scanner and it shows you the directions via arrows on your hud:p

Clearly the sarcasm was missed there lol. I just used my eyeballs, it's not like Skyrim etc where literally every NPC had a house in a town. A bit like how I don't walk around a highstreet looking at googlemaps, but it's nice to have the option! There are so few buildings I personally haven't had a problem, but in some of the bigger stations it could be handy as I often end up going in circles.

Also I like the fact quest markers are not constant, I don't really want to see them all the time when I am using the scanner on planets, but again, give it as an option.

Or that, as I've said before it never ceases to amaze me how often in the future we've forgotten how to have a compass, or a map, or how to attach a flashlight to a weapon or have to stumble about in the dark because civilization seems to have warp engines and lasers but lost the ability to make night vision scopes/googles or thermal sights :)

Oh a funny story, someone elsewhere was adamant to try to convince me that the characters had soul and that dialogue scenes with them had plenty of facial expressions and everything. I basically said what I said earlier in the thread to which many agreed, that the characters lack any meaningful persona and lack soul that makes you want to like them or root for them in the story etc. I literally showed the screenshots and videos I have accumulated over the 30+ hours yet that wasn't enough to convince them that there are glaring issues with the voice acting, NPC facials, and overall connection with your crew/sidekicks.

How many instances of Sarah facing away from you during dialogue does it take to convince some people that there are obvious issues lol. The community has let Bethesda through the cracks one too many times with stuff like this.
