I've got all the expansions but still not dedicated the full time to play it. I think I'll really enjoy it when I do. It was in a good awful state on release.

Yea X4 is one of the best games I've played, I've put nearly 1000 hours in, so addictive.
I haven't yet bought the most recent expansion, I have all the others though. I will at some point and fire it up again.
If you want a challenge, start up a custom game with max negative reputation with all the major factions apart from Hatikva and ther one similar one (sorry been a few years) and play as full blown pirate, stealing everything you need, great fun.

I've tried so many times to get into it, but it's just so full of systems! Is there any new player guide you'd suggest? I can see my self loving it, but first, the climb up the skill curve seems essential.

I would like to see the hab units that have storage boxes which are just for display turned into usable storage boxes with the ability to put a visual label on. So that way we can organise our junk.

Probably in your cargo hold. Look at the misc section and you will find tissues and soap dispensers.

Also are you editing your ship at any point. Everything automatically goes into cargo hold each time you do.
I have changed a few bits. Just recently picked up a new ship from a mission now all my crew/followers have gone. I presume I need to transfer them from the old ship ? I had Sarah following me but since getting the new ship she seems to have vanished completely not even at the lodge anymore….. lol

Normally my crew just jump on the new ship for me, never noticed them vanishing before.
Some of mine vanished after a certain incident in the main story. Not too bothered though. I am hoping to get Adam Jensen back though

I thought that this game would have been amazing going head to head with Deus Ex: Human Revolution from 2011 but as it stands it's 2023.
Someone should tell Bethesda how space suits work. If they're letting in gases and bio hazards there might be something wrong with them, space suits in 2023 work that way

It really annoys me that I cant simply search for a planet/city/system, for me that is a massive error. I said it a while ago and it is only egtting worse as I explore more.....heloooo satnav!
Last night I went to the Eye to find Andreja dead, this should have been a touching moment apart from the fact that Sarah kept jumping aorund from cradling Andreja's head in her hands to bolt upright, pretty funny.
