So in total on nexus mods alone, there have been over 1 million downloads for DLSS mods. That's not including the massive amount of people that seem to have gone direct to PureDark on Patereon and paid for the DLSS3 mod before it became free.
But yeah, DLSS is crap, DLSS is worse than anything, DLSS this and that as per comments online

Probably not a great idea to admit you were just trying to troll people (which seems to have backfired.) Just saying.
As much as I have enjoyed my posts winding up the die hard lovers of the game here, I can't take a second more of actually playing Starfield. I think I will continue playing through Mass Effect, an actually good space game.
Cheerio!
Not trolling. I can't help it if others get upset at my personal opinion of the game which seems to be closer to majority opinion of the game going by SteamDB ratings and the massive reddit thread that reached the reddit front page that I started. Unless you are defining trolling as writing something that goes against majority opinion on any particular thread? Not sure what has backfired? You could also have just let things lie and I wouldn't be back on this thread posting again which I had no intention of doing.
But the issue is SteamDB is around 70% positive so people who don't like the game are outweighed over 2:1 using your own figures. So using that metric around 70% of people in this thread should like it. The reality if people don't like something they are more likely to moan online about it - none of my mates playing Starfield leave online comments. Most of them find it fun to some degree or another.
Also the reality just because you don't like a game, doesn't mean others won't. I have no interest in Fortnite,FIFA,COD,etc at all,but tens of millions of gamers obviously think they are awesome. I just move on and play something I like - otherwise I could go on how FIFA or some of the racing games are almost the same games released every year.

The stuff that doesn't affect Bethesda's deal with AMD will be put into the game at the very last minute, just watch and see!Still no HDR range fix in the latest patch? I'm so glad I didn't pre order this, I'm learning!
Dumbed down majorly space stuff
Why would hdr features affect it? (Genuine question, not arguing the point)The stuff that doesn't affect Bethesda's deal with AMD will be put into the game at the very last minute, just watch and see!
I think we all know that if we boost too long in any direction we'll slam into a glass wall somewhere so they have to make the boost temporary and kill the speed on expiry.
Imagine if each boost increased speed...... that glass prison would be exposed all too soon.
Moving on from the space stuff.... the flirting.... who signed off on those lines... and where are the options for fun flirting like teasing your companion about their aim, or flattering them with comments on their space suit or weapon etc. That should be default... with some of the options perhaps being negative early on but becoming positive as rapport builds. Three flirts in and the option is to declare my love FFS. Have ignored Sarah since the marriage, now working on Andreja to see if I can romance her as well and if so, consequence with Sarah.
Yeah I am absolutely loving it, there is something so awesome about hiring npcs and getting them to fly your ship around while you walk around inside the ship, occassionally checking them out on the bridge to see how they are doing, watching out the windows as they fly you around. I'll not say more about it in this thread though as this for Starfield and I dont want to hijack the thread.Think that was me and you are welcome. The game is amazing and has some really good mods as well.
One that I would recommend is Sector Satellites.
