***The Official Starfield Thread*** (As endorsed by TNA)

My favourite moment recently was when I was getting pretty bored of having to watch the docking cinematic every time, and during the docking cinematic one of my crew members yawned (with the subtitles just saying "yawn").

I was like, yeh I feel the same missile weapons specialist.

Some real weird difficulty spikes. Last mission fighting Crimson Fleet where you have to destroy some Batteries and I can get killed in less than 5s. The enemies ignore the NPC ships aiding in the fight. Will probably have to give up on it and come back way later when I have upgraded my ship enough, but of course a lot of those upgrades are locked behind the skill tree lol.

Is there any logic for the blue mission markers that appear? I have one tracked but seemingly random ones appear quite often directing me back to my ship for ones in a completely different system.

It's telling you that the objective is in a different system, i.e. get in your ship and 'fly' there

RMA-ing my 7600 so still only about 2hrs into the game so can't form an opinion yet.

NB/ It does NOT run well on a backup 2GB GTX 960 :D

It's literally every time I land. Just now I've landed on Mars for a tracked quest and can see my blue marker to talk to the trade authority but there is a blue marker on my ship about going back to the lodge. When I was on the last planet it had a marker for the Deimos staryard misc mission as well as my tracked one.

I think there’s an option to show all markers in the quest log at the bottom? Can’t remember it’s exact name sorry..

If you have that enabled you get blue markers for all/nearby quests, not just the one you have tracked.

That batteries ain't that bad the key I found had to upgrade everything on my ship to max. Though thrusters are your best friend and always go for the red marker that's the thickest I find in battles. Not sure if it shows the biggest threat. Just seems to work.
for me
