You mean silo the TV show is not the fallout TV show? (btw watch it. It's amazing)

Ah man.. Here we go again. It is not more amazing than Picard :p

I watched about 7-8 episodes of that. It is such a slow burner. Enjoyable, but not much happens in most episodes so I find myself using my phone while watching it. It is very much like Fallout. But hopefully the real thing is better.

Na Picard still a masterpiece.

But thanks to u, i stopped watching it as u and the lines put me off watching 2nd season lol

Its amazing how many RPGs forget that the core of a good RPG is lore and storytelling, everything else is merely snacks on the table.
They would not have waited 25 years for that. "Cheap" 2d graphics then, point and click combat and let statistic do the rest. Graphics, physics, an alive world and absurd, ilogic situations don't matter, right? :)

To be fair, some of the best games I've played in recent years have had cheap graphics :D , the likes of Rimworld and Project Zomboid etc, though that probably says more about the state of AAA gaming than anything lol

Hench why people generally say not to waste effort pre ordering said triple A games lol

Depends on the title really I guess, as I said earlier, I'll definitely be preordering Civilization 7 and Metro 4, I guess those both qualify as AAA titles, actually I'm not even sure what constitutes AAA these days really.

Big budget big known studio and a rich history of the brand?

Civic is massive as a brand, metro 4 is a triple a game for sure

I haven't played those, not my coup of tea.

I'm writing more about Starfield from a perspective of an ACTION RPG, that means is a "little" different than the usual point and click ones, understandable based on statistics.

That action part has to be top notch, nothing to be left to character skill which can be done by player skill. No cheap, overused difficulty levels etc.

But even then, is stuff like a broken door which will colaps if you slightly push it IRL, but requiring 100 level lockpicking skill because... RPG skills involved, ergo you can't open it even if you carry explosives.
Or being in the cold, stormy north, surounded by ice, in the eye of the storm, reading about how tough others have it there, but you can run around in that pathetic excuse of an armor that covers almost nithing or even can jump in the freezing water, naked, without consequences.

However you wanna put these, it does affect the story, storytelling, suspencios of disbelief and so on ...

Yeah thats why any decent pen and paper DM takes that into account and allows strength checks against a door rather than having to lockpick it. Thats what I mean about how so many RPGs have forgotten the actual RPG part, that and a shockingly large number of people have no idea what RP is and think that RP just means having stats and attributes...kids today ! :)
