Steams allowing me to preload my standard game purchased through CDKEYS though it's only an 86.4GB download.
Download ≠ size on disk - these things are compressed on Steam's end to reduce the bandwidth and server storage requirements. Pre-loads are also encrypted so it'll have to de-crypt it once the game's live.

BTW, if anyone's planning on having this installed locally on multiple PCs, make sure you have Steam's 'Game File Transfer over Local Network' enabled - it's great for grabbing all the install files from another PC on your LAN.

More concerning is that they appear to have deliberately held review copies back from several major UK-based publications to prevent them having reviews ready when the embargo lifts. Eurogamer, RPS, Edge, The Guardian and a few others including an Xbox-focused site have all said they weren't provided one.
Is that not to do with some contention with their parent company, Reedpop?

So some have speculated, but that doesn't explain the rest (as far as I'm aware EDGE are well-respected across the industry) nor why Digital Foundry were apparently allowed a copy under strict instructions not to share it with Eurogamer.

There’s some people that have been critical of Bethesda at some of the blocked publications so it could be related to that.
