Not a great first impression with mine, installed F1 2021 and about 30 seconds into my first lap it booted me back to the menu!

It works really well. Use Rufus to do the install as Windows-to-go. You can also prevent Windows from seeing the Deck's internal storage and doing its Windows stompy stompy thing it likes to do when it sees drives.

I need to read up on it as none of what you've said makes sense to me, it's been a while since I had a PC lol

finally got mine today! Took 6 days from payment to delivery, bought Thursday and arrived today. Had a brown pants moment after i updated it as it was taking forever to boot but i was told this was normal after update and first boot. Not tried any games yet as i had to shoot off for work but it's very nice! Will try some games tonight! i got the 256gb model

Isn't that the norm for any new high-demand low volume bit of tech these days? CEX prices are also still decent if you don't want eBay hassle.

Thought it might calm down after a while of them being out and finally getting out to people, didn’t realise it was so in demand.

I had the same problem. Turn on developer mode in settings, there will be a new developer section on the left at the bottom of the list. In there turn off wifi power saving. Fixed it for me.
