No need to worry, screen is in perfect condition, very well packaged.
Really solid heavy machined aluminium stand that needs a couple of screws. Then pop the screen onto the stand and attach with a single screw. Nice and adjustable, and solid.
The finish is very good without being Apple levels of polish. It's all metal, and solid, but the edges are probably a little sharper than on an Apple device.
The weird thing at the moment is that I've been using a curved screen for the past 3-4 years, and right now my eyes are really messed up and the scene looks convex to me. It's proper weird. I'm sure my eyes will adjust after a little while!
Glad I didn't opt for the 27", would be too small as a main screen. This feels like just the right size for a primary display.
Will post pics and thoughts a bit later, off to the gym now.
