Real Forged Alliance matches are HARD and I do mean difficult. The learning curve on Forged Alliance is incredibly different to other games. You just cannot hope to start playing and be able to beat someone even half decent.

Practice, practice, practice and read the forums and watch top 10 ranked matches you might start to get better!
