*** The Official Takeaway Voucher Code Thread ***

You decide to tell me that when i've just put a ready meal in the microwave ffs... :p

Stick it back in the fridge for later :p

Found out I only get a FoodHub suspension when I order from a certain place, my old favourite place I used to order from loads of times over the last couple of years. Oh well their loss, won't even bother myself to cross their doorstep when I'm on the way home from the pub once lockdown is over. There is a new place with 20% menu discount on FH now which is equally as nice so all is good. :D

I got a expired UberEats code through my letterbox posted by Royal Mail, it seems they are still carrying out posting old junk mail while they are working through the back log! :(

Had about 20 emails from FoodHub this week offering 20% off at Pepe's (never heard of them) all sent to email addresses belong to previously deleted FoodHub accounts. FoodHub appear to be keeping hold of and using personal data long after you've told them to remove your data.

I still have the 20% off code if anyone wants... 'HELLOPEPES'

Bought a cheese garlic bread special last night from one of my usual places that I've had plenty from in the past (FoodHub 20% shop discount), only this time the doner kebab meat was greasy as hell. I can still taste it now. :(

I'll be giving that place a miss for a while now. Plus it was the first kebab I've had in about a month.

If you have one nearby you need to give German Doner Kebab a go. We have a couple in Glasgow now and it's the best Doner I've ever tasted. So delicious it doesn't even need sauce with it. The quality is only bested by Doner Haus

One opening soon in Newcastle (the real one) according to their website but it's 14.7 miles away. Whether they will deliver this far when they open who knows. :)

I'd most certainly give them ago if they do!

I've found the "order ahead of time" never really works, the shop gets the order immediately and orders it as such.

Always had that problem back in the day with Just Eat, order for an hour or so later and still gets processed and delivered straight away. Takeaway outlets don't read same with the special requirements/notes box.

I'd honestly say it would be worth the drive 15 miles is what 20 minutes or so. To get it and eat it hot in the car. Or when it opens up inside again for a sit in.

On the last 2 zoom meetings it's been one of the places everyone wants to go again once lockdown is over and we have our next proper night out

I will definitely give them a go when I next in Newcastle post covid restrictions. I love me kebabs me like.

No takeaway tonight. Had a huge garlic bread special from FoodHub Saturday night and a 12" kebab pizza (collection deal) last night after the pubs.

Think I've put enough pounds on this weekend already. :(

Justeat and Uber eats seem to have become expensive. Apart from some Indian restaurants, all of them have £2-£5 delivery charge. In the past, everyone had free delivery. Obviously, I am not talking about those of you who live in the middle of nowhere and your nearest takeaway is 20 miles away.

Justeat now also have a 5% service charge. My recent transactions suggest the delivery & service charge are 1/3 of the bill.

Ordering takeaway is not the cheap quick order thingy it used to be.

JE have started adding a "bag charge" too. Some places want 30p bag charge when all you have ordered is a pizza which comes in a cardboard box.
