The **Official** Test Drive Unlimited for PC thread

We need one thread that has everyone user name in the first post, its gonna be impossible to add people if they keep adding names in the middle of 20 page threads!

Once you have the player you want to make a friend in your free-ride session (Press F to see whos in the same instance as you). Then you use the numpad arrows .

Right arrow is accept and Left arrow is to go back. Up and down is to select different options.

You use the numpad arrows to select your friend then press Right to go into a different menu which will show 'Add As Friend' or something like that.

Im loving this game apart from my controller issues. Cant hold it steady round a corner, all or nothing. Gamepad works on every other game i have? Anyone with same problems? ajusting the sensitivity dosent help either :confused:

On the overall game front, ive had quite a few little issues, mainly graphic based with the game flaking out in menu, but if i set gfx to 1280x1024, then back to my native 1440x900 its fine again....random
Get a couple of jerky moments between areas/servers but tbf my system running 7600GS Premium (500/1400) has the game running silky smooth with 4xAA on high settings and oh my!! does it look INCREDIBLY pretty

Getting addicted now, only on 2% complete but got myself an Orange Gallardo last night :D. Will be online tonight, sorry if no one saw after i was, when i initially started online, it almost seemed like i wasnt connected as i couldnt see anyone, thats all sorted now tho

Also runs fantastically on a XSKILLS GameCube pad adaptor

Overall a BRILLIANT game, but Atari......get that patch out lads ;)

My copy arrived yesterday, installed last night and spent a couple of hours just driving around. I'm rob200sx in-game btw.

started off with an Audi A3, did a transport mission (losing 36k off the bounty for hitting too many things...oops) but still made enough from a few other missions, had a look on the exchange and found this, a snip at 75k :)

Might just go and buy a steering wheel controller, can anyone recommend one that doesn't cost £150?? Saw the Saitek R440 at around £50, is that any good?

Getting perfect is easy, just don't rush or overtake too much. Will take longer but i did a $99,999 car transport and got $49,999 bonus :-)

for those on here having problems with stuttering on G80's, there is a post on Atari's forums that claims that the 100.95 beta drivers virtually eliminate the issue. Not tested myself yet so can't confirm but a few people on there are sighing their relief. Also supposed to sort out NFSMW which I for one have problems running smoothly. Anyone care to test as I'm at work......:(

The 9800 will probably have problems playing the game anything over 1024x768 low settings/medium.

The x1950pro should play it 1280x1024 high settings at 30fps...maybe 25-30.
