How would these graphic cards run this game?

ATI 9800 Pro 128MD

ATI 1950 Pro 512MB
9800 pro might have some problems.

My X1900XT doesn't have much problem, everything is on high + FSAA 4x @ 1280x1024 and I'm getting 50-60fps. Not sure how much slower a X1950 PRO is, but I wouldn't of thought it would be that much slower than a X1900XT

for those on here having problems with stuttering on G80's, there is a post on Atari's forums that claims that the 100.95 beta drivers virtually eliminate the issue. Not tested myself yet so can't confirm but a few people on there are sighing their relief. Also supposed to sort out NFSMW which I for one have problems running smoothly. Anyone care to test as I'm at work......:(

I havent tried TDU yet, will try that in about 15 mins, but thought I would say, my 3dMark05 score with the latest official drivers was 9930, with these I just got 10329, I know, not much difference, but its got it into 10,000 at least.

Ok, these drivers suk, stutering is even worse in TDU *uninstalls them and re installed 100.87*

yeah they are free, i set one up last night, dont even need the gamespy program running, its all configured inside the game server, you just put in your username and password on profile :)

on the X1950 situ, that should be fine, my 7600GS is say 70% of the speed of one of them, and i get great FPS and looks FAB!

I'm running it on a 9800 Pro 128mb and its fine, everything is on low obviously and i can't afford to whack any AA on but it struts along at a fair speed @ 1024x768 smoothly.

Used to get very jerky around the built up city area but i found some graphics tweaks on some other forums and now i get a reasonable FPS count in the city area too.

I just cant get into this game on the pc, i had it on the 360 and loved it. I wish it had proper support for steering wheels with force feedback and more of a simulation feel to it. Then again it is meant to be arcadey so i can understand.

The beta worked fine with my Logitech DFP wheel. I must admit i dont like FF and usually turn it off straight away. But the game IS arcadey, it aint no sim!

^^ Yeah, i suppose that where im so used to GTR 1 & 2, LFS & GT Legends. Its never really going to come close.

Hopefully with the next patch they might improve the options.....
