^^ Yeah, i suppose that where im so used to GTR 1 & 2, LFS & GT Legends. Its never really going to come close.

Hopefully with the next patch they might improve the options.....

Maybe the patch will. But i doubt it. They should be fixing bugs before features. And yes i play LFS and TDU is nothing compared to LFS.

Anyone else get the game crashing regularly? Usually changing from the loading screen to the actual game? Its annoying me and i have to reboot everytime.

mine has crashed a fair few times, mainly from minimizing and a few times between screens yea

What do you lot use for a controller?

In the beta I was using keyboard, but when I buy this I want to be able to control the throttle and stearing properly.

Any suggestions? (Tight buget)

Just got this, free from the company that messed up my STALKER order, very good of them, as I only asked to them sell it to me at the same price as my original order.

Anyway, loving it so far, though I've only been messing around for an hour or two. Had major problems getting my Gravis analogue pad to work correctly - I couldn't set up the sticks to work in two directions, ie foward = accelerate back = brake. Tried using the buttons, but you can drive with any subtlety as it's all or nothing. In the end I found uninstall the gravis drivers and using the ms default sorted things out and I can now drive properly.

Had a fair few crashes; lock-ups with looping sound, CDT's, reeboots and a refusal to exit to desktop. Also had trouble setting graphic options, as this would also reeboot the PC. Knocking back some of my overclocking has sorted most of these out, even though every other game is rock solid.

So now I've got it all working I look forward to putting in a fair few hours and explore the island...I do love all these sand-box games we've had recently.

well having a crack at this map every road lark...dang its a lot of work...my poor mustangs aint liking it tbh, driven give or take 900miles now and mapped 56% of roads in game...it feels like ive done more :(

i dont drive for speed, if i wanted to look like every other muppet in an enzo id have an enzo :p

besides, mustangs sound nicer than my dtm merc

I bought a saitek P2900 wireless today, works really well with tdu, absolutely no problems.

For those who are interested, below are some pics. Recommend this controller! All buttons are programmable (apart from the analog/pad button and connection scan button) Wireless is good, battery lasts for 50hours, very nice to hold aswell. Always been impressed with saitek, they make good quality but relatively cheap hardware. :)

I am looking at ordering this today, I haven't played a good racing game for ages.

I want to order a steering wheel too but I can't justify the G25.

Is there any other wheel that you would suggest?

I really can't imagine playing TDU with a wheel. You would be warn out after 30minutes as the game is so fast paced. I can see the controls being very sensitive and twitchy with a wheel. Get a gamepad tbh. :)
