Just caved and bought this as the new nforce drivers FINALLY fixed the graphical corruption for 7800gtxs (hopefully). Another reason would be that my flatmate has been teasing me with his collection of jags and TVRs.

Anyone on here still play this? Just hoping when it arrives later this week i don't log on to find the online community is non-existant. :/

I play TDU regularly as does my flat mate. I've not done many online races but my account is setup to be an online one since an offline account can never be converted into an online one.

Hmm my game profile says I didn't get Gold reward for all Single player RACE events but I have :confused:

I wonder if the patch will fix a problem I have with one of the challenges. Its where you have to belt down a road past 4 speed cameras and match or exceed the speeds for each speed camera. Whenever I complete this particular challenge TDU crashes one me; whether I time out the challenge or finish it myself having passed all 4 speed cameras. Quite annoying as its one of the easier challenges to do but crashes TDU no matter what car.

does anyone use the 360 wheel on the pc with TDU? i got the wheel today and whilst i cant currently use it with my xbox as i get 3rol

i was looking forward to using it with tdu on the pc. however when i get into game its not recognising the pedals etc. anyone had any experiences with this and can help me out?

sorry no, i imagine most wheel users for the pc probably have a momo/g25/some usb wheel, 360 wheels seems a tad on the pricey side tbh, i wish you luck though.

maybe have a poke around the official tdu forums?

Well aren't the programmers in Yankland? So they'll be a few hours behind us. We'll have to wait until later tonight or early hours of tomorrow morning for the patch if indeed they are releasing the patch today.

Nothing obvious on http://forums.eu.atari.com/forumdisplay.php?f=447 about the patch being out today OR not being out today.

To protect the community of committed and responsible Test Drive Unlimited PC players, starting in the coming weeks Atari will permanently and completely ban players found cheating and playing illegally. This process will begin following the release of the PC patch, at which point all PC rankings will be reset to clean the PC score database. As a special exclusive gift to all PC players, two brand new cars will be included with the patch completely free; the Audi RS4 and Nissan Skyline R34.

We need an 8 man meeting in TDU and all go for a cruise again, was well fund last time it happened, shame most people on here dont play TDU anymore

So that means all the money and time people have put into completing races and getting money will all be reset? what a load of **** that is!.. :mad:

I think its just the stats you see after compleating a rave, so were you see someone who got a speed of 5000+ mph in a race from cheating, they will be banned and all the stats in the list will be reset.

Don't think I'm gonna play it again until the patch, hopefully it fixes the X-Fi sound glitches as well.

Clearing the score list is the only way tbh, won't affect my single player progress so it doesn't bother me

Do they crash your game?

Whenever I do the speed races, where you have to go pass the speed cameras to get the average speeds the game freezes when I either finish the race once I've passed all the speed cameras or when the time runs out.

The sound starts to stutter then it crashes the game out.
