have you changed monitors since you last played the game?

did you have a non widescreen before and now a widescreen?? if so did you used to play in a res that is not supported by your new display?

i had this prob when i switched monitors. just uninstall your graphic drivers then reinstall them, this should then set you back to the default tdu res which should get you into the game. then just change settings from there.

As far as i can remember i havent changed anything since i last played it. I will get the first few screen including the video of the brake disc etc.

When im just about to get onto the main menu the game will just crash and i will get a black flickering screen until i managed to get task manager to end it.

i've just bought it myself, and ive set the video to my native res, and i cant get into the game, when i click on new game i get funny blocks on the screen and it crashes, im thinking its tempreature so ive put an extra fan on to cool it down, just going to give it another try

are you running the x1950pro is that the AGP one? because i had artifacts after a while due to it being one of the dodgy HIS ones, you just have to declock the memory IIRC

Urgh i had that stuff, try and older version of your game save.

Failing that i think its something like, set ALL the video settings as low as they go, exit, restart go into the house and the the new and sit there for a bit, quit, come back in and try again, should let you start the race without the freeze and you can turn everything back up again.

But why are you doing the races driving round is more fun.
 
Anyway have any idea why I cant get full acceleration on the triggers working in TDU? I'm using this car and I get into 4th gear and it wont budge over 100mph, infact wont hardly accelerate at all, just stays at the speed.
 
Sorry for not replying earlier. Weird issue you've got here. Never had this myself. Have you always had this issue or is it new? Could it be something to do with controller drivers or something? Latest patch of TDU or not?

Been a while since I played TDU so I'm struggling to remember the menus and what settings/options are around to try. :(
