Surely you can see were it came from? I only mentioned it due to the post above, maybe if this PC I was on had speakers I would have had a better idea.

Any news on how good/bad the carpack is? Anyone played it for a while and can give some feedback?
I'd say its worth it, thats only because I like one of the cars very much, but all in all the selection of new cars in the car pack is quite good, a lot of the cars I did not like but some are good.
I would get it tbh, gives some extra play time at least

I have managed to get TDU to work on my pc before, however i thought i would give it a bash last night and now i cannot seem to get it working.
As far as i can remember i havent changed anything since i last played it. I will get the first few screen including the video of the brake disc etc.
When im just about to get onto the main menu the game will just crash and i will get a black flickering screen until i managed to get task manager to end it.
The only way i can get the game to work is if i put "-W" at the end of the command line of the shortcut. This causes it to launch, but not in full screen.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

New firewall program or antivirus? Perhaps you need to try disabling them.

I had the same problem a while ago i think it was something to do with my resolution but first i would delete the radial.cdb file since this is usually the cause of most of the crashes in tdu.
Cool thanks, i will give this a shot.
Its very odd as i dont beleive anything has changed, so why it would just stop working is odd.
It will however launch if i put "-w" at the end of the command line, however that just stops it form running full screen

It is a cracking game. I can lose hours playing it. Just the bugs annoy me somewhat.i've just paid for TDU, i have played it once and loved it, cant wait to play it again
I find I get bored of TDU quickly and think well that is it I'm never gonna come back to this game.
Problem is everyday I'm back on it, sometimes every other hour I am back on it for a short session, it's like a drug!!!

I bought my copy on Xbox when it first came out and i really enjoyed it.
I also decided to get it on pc, however at the time my PC wouldnt run it.
Since i have built the latest and hooked up the G25, it has transformed this game, i can drive for hours.
Quiet fancy the Car Pack but i dont want to pay for it as i already paid for the xbox packs.
