It has stopped piracy before release though, bar the 360 copy. But I agree It wont stop it in the long run I very much doubt.

Because the in game VSYNC method goes like this...

60, 30, 20,15

so say if the FPS goes to 59 it's automatically locked to 30 and if say for instance it went to 29 its locked to 20. A very stupid way to do it imo. So enable VSYNC from your drivers to pass this nonsense

The lighting problems occur when your force AA in DX9 as the engine does not support AA in DX9 because of the deffered lighting used in DX9. DX10 AA should be ok on the other hand.

When I use the driver VSYNC it locks it at 60fps and nothing below.

Well my copy of BioShock just arrived

, the collectors edition. The Big Daddy figurine looks great and inside is an embossed metal case unlike the USA chaps who recieved a plastic case inside. Im happy will be installing later on.

Most likely as something was loading. A slight pause in frame.

Just cracked open my CE edition. The figurine is bloody awesome and really quite heavy. It also smells highly toxic

and features a "Made In China" sticker. I feel really sorry for those poor underpaid chinese workers that had to hand paint these

. But hats off to them It's a lovely figurine. Also the rest of the Kit is really really nice. Definetly the best special edition I've ever had definetly worth the extra tenner over the normal edition.

Yea just because they can force it via a driver hack dosnt mean that the game actually supports it. Go try forcing AA for yourself. Like everyone else you will find rendering issues. Crap FPS. Lighting issues. This is the reason the developers left it out. The game does not officially support AA.

Just been playing for a few hours. Got to Neptunes Bounty. My god this game is somthing else It really is. Playing on Hard it is fairly challenging but nothing impossible so far. Only died twice I think and that was when I went up against the Big Daddy, those things kick serious ASS.

Yep I turned all hints off and playing on Hard so should be fairly long to complete. The medical pavilion took me aruond 2-3 hours to complete.
