I played at 1900x1440 as 22" CRT and 4:3, I killed V-Sync and got no less then 70FPS at any point, could not work out how to get Fraps to save a report for later use. :(

Vista Ult 64 with E6850 @ 3.8GHZ, 2GB Memory, 8800Ultra @ 700/2400

Latest Nvidia Beta for this game.

Set Driver to High Quality and Supersampling AA ON.

Every part scores 5.9 in Vista apart from CPU which is 5.8, thats inc 1 RaptorX, aint got both Raided since new build, CPU should get 5.9 once I cool better and hit 4GHZ.

You've posted this 3 times in 3 different threads. We get the idea :p

Not sure if its just me but I completed the demo earlier like 5 times, went to bed for 5 mins, then came back on and had another bash at it.

I need the real game so bad lol.

Nope I must have completed the demo around 6 times now :D never gets old frying splicers who jump into the water to douse the flames they are engulfed by :D

Just did a dx9 benchmark with fraps in xp from the plane crash to the end of the bathysphere.

min:65
Avg:116
Max:250

Considerable increase over dx10 in the same sequence which was

min:41
Avg:67
max:118

I have to run it in dx10 mode though because the water ripples are so much better and well... I just love the water :p.

Was this with your card overclocked?

also i wonder if there is a cheat for god mode and infine blue injection bar? would be very interesting then.

Why  , It would be mindlessly boring.

Shame us ATi guys can't enable AA. Has anyone confirmed whether the option to enable AA is in the full game or not?

You changed Your mind a bit ! last night You said You don't need AA in this game ;)

Yea but when you hear more and more people complain about it it starts to make me want it :p . No I havnt asked about Crossfire im sure they already know about it.

Well AA works fine on my 2900 but from my test

It causes lighting rendering issues
FPS DROPS whenever your near any water

:(

Apart from that in all other scenes its around a 10fps drop.

Kipper is that catalyst AI set to standard?

Guys let us know how you get on with the AA hack and let me know if you experience the same issues as me I was using 4xAA. And got a lighting problem when you meet the first splicer and you pick up the wrench..

I had AI to standard maybe it will be better using advanced...?

not sure , got an NV card myself , just passing the info on .

i'm sure Tom will be back in a minute and he can tell you.

I was using Standard. Im away from my rig atm so can't test anymore but if some ati users could test and report back their findings especially the 2900 users..

From what I've read on this forum, the Bioshock demo doesn't really give a carp what CPU you use. :)

The game needs at least 2.5Ghz as per the readme for optimum performance. This game utilizes dual core very well, around 100% on one core and 97% on the other. A good clocked CPU does make a difference

Ok cheers, the demo did run smooth throughout, except the end battle, where it dropped to the high 20's, but thats apparently normal and still perfectly playable :)

Mine dosnt go below 60 there IIRC. That is more down to your CPU than your GPU tbfh.
