Sorry but this game is vastly overrated don't get me wrong it has fantastic graphics but it's very samey go to point A get item go back to point B open door and repeat.hardly an evolutionary game like some people are going on about it.

I agree to a certain extent

The gameplay is very repetitve if you look at it in that way, but if you look past it and see the great story line, the amazing atmosphere the game creates, as well as the massive number of ways to kill your opponents, it really is one awesome game

Like I said in a previous post though, however great it maybe, it is not one of those games that, for me, has replayability.

The thing that makes the game is going through it and going WOW at almost everything, the story, the graphics, the creepy noises and jumping moments.

Once that wow element has gone, the game becomes, like you said, a tad bit tedious

You could say that, but that's only if you rush through it. I spent hours setting up traps for the Splicers, seeing how many I could take down with one proximity mine, getting big daddys to have a royal rumble etc. Great fun!

I feel the same. Enjoyed STALKER much more. Will be playing that back through again (seeing as there are about 8 different endings!) but will leave Bioshock to gather dust now.

Only bonus is I know for sure I won't have any UT3 problems performance wise now

Oh yea i like it the atmosphere and everything but it's not something I'll be playing through more than twice.
I am on the medical pavilion level the bit where the doctor blocks the way hopefully it gets better from here still only have one plasmid.It is rock hard on the hard difficulty setting.
It's laggy 1600-1200 fsaa 16x so i leave aa off for now.

LOL i jus completed this. what a crappy ending(s)

and ryan? ffs, couldve put up an actual fight! what an anti climax. you go through all that to get into his ofice for him to smack himself around the head with a golf club? lol. terrible..

atlas/fontaine was an anti climactic battle aswell. just a rinse and repeat jobby. too oldschool and generic for me to enjoy. nice graphics, but im not going to touch this game again

AMEN! i just completed fear the other day after having it for over a year now lol... barraccuda HP1 5.1 headphones + fear = 15 min session's...too young for a heart attack.

but how long is the gameplay of bioshock? is it replayable do you think? or is it scripted to one story line?

Grenade launcher takes them down in 6 with the damage increase mod. Failing that I kept using the machine gun with armour piercing rounds (Which research says they are weak against)

At the first Big Daddy? no. He isn't too hard to kill really, the ones with the cannons are a pain, but use the shotgun, works well, stand up on something or what I did was run around a pillar.

Hi, i killed fontaine, then i launched some bathey spheres, killed some sailors and got a nuclear bomb, is that the end of the game? Did they run out of money or something?

Well yeah that's the evil ending, you took over Rapture and took the Adam and then you wanted more, so you went topside. Then there's the nice ending if you saved the little sisters.

Awesome game IMO

ive gotten SOOO SICK of waiting for support to help me with the offline activation, im downloading the game, writeing a email of official complaint, STUPID support, not helpful in any way.

yet to play it after buying it last week friday.

******* dissapointed, wasted 30 quid... NOT HAPPY

as far as im concerned, awful game at the moment

Any of you lot suffered from floating particles (like fireflys) appearing during the fort frolic level ??
I'm not sure if they are supposed to be there or not, but if I stand still I see a fair amount of the floating particles around me lol ?
GPU is not overheating and sitting at around 75C.
I have tried back-reving to 162.18 driver, but have the same problem.
Are they supposed to be there ??
As soon as I use the bathysphere to go back to say, Arcadia, they disappear.
