**The one and only Official BioShock Thread**- now with added **SPOILERS**

This should end the new game drought in the middle of summer that we have. Also means i can play with little guilt, unlike when im back at uni for Crysis.. playing and ruining my degree! :p

What's the problem? :confused: . It keep's all discussion into one thread and it's not like I have made a crap thread I've provided all the information people will want to know aswell as helping a few people know more about the game just from posting this. There is always one :rolleyes: , my S.T.A.L.K.E.R thread was one of the most popular threads in PC Games of all time :) .

Thanks. You summed up exactly what I was referring to in that line.

Anyhow, I can't really be bothered arguing about it. Having just one central thread is always a good plan. That's not the issue.

I'll just stick to talking about how rocking BioShock looks. Seems more productive for both of us :)
 
Advice please!

I really want this game but not sure whether to get it on PC or X360. My PC isn't brilliant spec (A64 3000+, 1gb ram, 6800gt) so not sure if it would run very well (I Will be upgrading later in the year, but I don't want to wait to play Bioshock!)...

X360 will obviously run it fine, but I'm not massively keen on console FPS and prefer the PC's controls and flexibility.

Hmmmm any thoughts?

I'd never trade the mouse and nicer graphics for the 360 version. tbh your 6800GT won't be that far beind a 360 in terms of graphics anyway. When you upgrade you'll see much better visuals as well.
 
IS this game confirmed for 24 august? or is that a tentative date?

I have a feeling its gonna be delayed because 3 weeks rls, game is usually gold + there is usually news of a demo as well

a 6800gt will struggle with this game, big time i reckon especially if he wants it too look like the 360 version :confused:

at least a x1950 to run it maxed at 720p probably

Confirmed about a dozen times as 21/24th depending on where you live.

Just a month to go until release. I just wish I had the ability to get to Boston to make use of my launch event invite :/
