Well regardless of what he thinks,

Mouse and Keyboard give much control for FPS and the PC has better graphics.

On the basis of that PC version is better.

X1600? It won't do the game any justice I'd much rather have the 360 version, besides it's only single player, I'm fine with pretty much any FPS on a console for offline play.

x1600 barely makes minimum spec for this game.
Sorry mate but you are out of luck there. You'll get better controls but GFX wil b poor.

Granted I as well haven't done much searching but £39.99 is what I bagged the Collectors Edition at, haven't come across it cheaper since :)

Your word is hardly gospel, in fact I don't even know who you are. Anyone who thinks a 6800gt and a 3000+ is going to rival the 360's output is ignorant. Either that or you are trying to make our friend go for a vastly inferior version of Bioshock just so you can further your own fanboyish agenda.
 
Advice please!

I really want this game but not sure whether to get it on PC or X360. My PC isn't brilliant spec (A64 3000+, 1gb ram, 6800gt) so not sure if it would run very well (I Will be upgrading later in the year, but I don't want to wait to play Bioshock!)...

X360 will obviously run it fine, but I'm not massively keen on console FPS and prefer the PC's controls and flexibility.

Hmmmm any thoughts?

360 as your pc spec is quite low,yes the pc version you can use keyboard and mouse but it will look better on your 360 than your pc.

How anyone can equate arguing that a mouse + keyboard is a better control system for a FPS than a X-Box 360 game pad with "fanboyism" is beyond me, as is KNiVES's comment that for some reason he should know me :confused: Lol :)
