I call BS though.

After playing Bioshock on the 360 its really tempted me to get myself a nice 22" LCD Montior, CPU Coolver, Vista and a new HDD. Would be delicious.

Think my system would run it ok?

6300 @ 3.0Ghz probably (had it at 2.8Ghz)
8800GTS EVGA Superclocked
2GB Rammagefaction
Vista 64bit

Just wanna some performance scores between DX9 and DX10 like...

Your system should deffinetly run it very well at decent resolutions on high detail.

as far as iv read bioshock is a console game and the only thing optimised for the pc is the user interface. i doubt its gonna be loads faster than rainbow 6 vegas but we shall wait and see.

lol where are you getting your info from? it's been developed on 360 and pc independently by dedicated teams at irrational and pcgamer played it smoothly on an 8800gts 320mb wth high settings without slowdown.

Of course it runs better and looks better than vegas, i just don't understand how peopole can STILL think it could run the same as games like vegas even after all the reviews and developer and gameplay videos...

This is what annoys me, people STILL think that things don't change and progress, the developers who made games like Vegas with poorly implemented UE3 parts and poor optimisation are not the ones making games like Bioshock.

I wish people would just read the pcgamer/pczone reviews among other pc reviews the mag is only a fiver...
There is no chance this game runs as slow or as shoddy as Vegas and other UE3 current games because the dev has put the effort in to make it not only look better but run better too.

Stop saying "if it runs better" etc because it does, it's been shown in videos and it's been shown in reviews. All we have to do is wait til release to play it now.

I have absolute full confidence Bioshock will perform very well across a plethora of different systems. The developers made loads of effort to tweak and optimise the game and it should run like a dream with good levels of detail on midrange hardware. 8 days left!!!

I have to agree.

Well they got Doom 3 running on Voodoo 2 SLI so who knows? ;)

Published minimum requirements are a Geforce 6xxx series or ati X1xxx series and a P4 2.4 GHz or equivalent so in all probability -no.
