Wow it didnt take very long till bioshock got pirated, seems the 360 version is out there. Its a shame tho as this game looks amazing for it to be pirated.
Yep only a matter of time before the PC version is up there, think I'll be getting it if it does, I just wanna see the performance on the first level (demo level) then I'll wait for the proper release and play along with friends on Ventrilo.

Be harder to pirate the pc version as it requires an intenet connection for activation.

Well I hope so - the devs have worked hard to give us an original title with high production standards...they deserve their return.

SO if it does appear on the net, don't be a ****** - BUY IT...unless you only want generic second hand console crap!!!

and by the sounds of things your gonna get decent play time for your money. 15-20 hours and a second ending :D

"Of course, even if you play games strictly for the difficulty that they bring, BioShock is a title that needs to be played, simply because you will never look at an FPS the same way again. Of the 15 to 20 hours of gameplay that it delivers, there isn’t a second wasted. Once you finish the game, there’s little chance that you’ll take it out before playing it again to see the second ending."

Didnt stop people with half life 2 tho, so i doubt it will stop the hackers. Hope they did a good job tho with making it harder for the hackers tho this time around.

Although saying that, it is disapointing for games to need online activation. Because not everyone is on the net so a lot of people will be hoping there is a way around it in the end.

Anyhow... Moving along.

I cant wait for bioshock to come out tho i dont usually get collector editions or the like as i only want the games. So anyone know where the cheapest place to get it from is, the normal edition for pc i mean? Being of course careful not to name competitors etc.

I think everyone who has a decent PC will have the internet, I'm pretty sure about it, online activation should not be a problem at all.

Who would pirate this game? It's a game that is worth buying, games that NEED to be pirated are those of the liked of TDU :p

I was talking to a workmate who said basically "yeeeeap I'll download it" and I tried explaining that whilst he is able to download it it would be much better to buy such a game where the developer has very obviously dedicated care and attention to both platforms to give us what we want.

I could understand if it was Rainbow 6 Vegas or any other ***** port that was knocked out one Sunday evening but not a game like this - I tend to always buy games of high calibre which is the reason I buy very few games.

STALKER was one I anticipate since 2003~ only to be let down by poor optimisation of the engine by GSC - what a waste of £35 that was lol.

I don't know if I'm the only non-German speaking nutter that looks in on Giga.de from time to time but I see they're playing Bioshock on 360 tonight (from 9pm). Just click the Live link. Repeated at midnight.

Despite the language barrier (and the likely target age) it's a show I've watched a number of times over the last couple of years. Why don't we have shows like this in the UK? Or do we?

Do the big daddys all look slightly different? That one looks like a regular diving helmet its wearing compared to the one with loads of little round red circles at the front instead.
