Im personally getting the Collectors because;

A. I got mine for 34.99 after a friend gave me his spare £5 voucher for **** which he got in a bottle of Fanta :P

B. There is space on my desk for the Big Daddy so It will sit there looking pretty cool

C. The soundtrack CD. I love the music in BioShock so this is definetly a very welcome addition.

The rest im not too fussed about, the making of dvd will be nice to watch though :)

It seems this game has been heavily influenced by Fritz Lang's Metropolis (a silent movie made in 1927) , the film is about an under ground city kind of like rapture. It also has various striking similarities.

This is the underground city you see in a flyby near the start of the movie (A striking resemblence to the fly by of rapture at the start of the game)

Take a look at the poster very art deco as as such in the movie

Very good movie I only watched it recently after a few recomendations. I like the references to the "G-Bank" in Metropolis. This is also featured in BioShocks rapture as a "Gene Bank". You can easily tell Ken ripped a ton of stuff from this movie.

No No No, it's a great thing :D . I only decided to watch it after he had stated he had took a lot of ideas from the film and put them into the game. Definetly not a bad thing. Ideas have to come from somewhere. :) , maybe my choice of words were not too good but I did say at the top of my post it was influenced from the movie ;)

also tom did you find out about the ati advanced monitor timing for us? hoping to get a x1950pro for agp system but need some more info on the advanced timing for custom display setups.

Im actually really please FP let us pre load now. I remember before it was almost pointless having a Sub as when a demo came out even the subs could not get the demo faster than the Free users. Now we can.. I'll just leave it overnight tbh :) will be done by the morning.

It's obviously an abnormally busy time they should have staggered the preloads tbh. Just have some patience :)

TBH, grab a beer, get a movie to watch and just chill out with the thought that come tommorow 7PM EST you won't have to faff about with the mad rush to get the demo as it will already be unlocked ready to play!. Bliss. I agree there servers can be on and off sometime. Though the slow download on this pre load is not a problem their end this time this is just a case of 1000's of people trying to pre load this right now. No amount of servers could help I doubt :D. Once people finish off the DL it will speed up.
