Just played through and it's pretty damn amazing.

You can clearly tell that you're not seeing the whole deal yet but it's done a good job of everything so far. Ran like a dream too.

My housemate has just played it in on his 9800pro too. Apparently it played fine, though obviously graphics weren't amazing.

I haven't tested it in DX9 at the moment, so I wonder if the problem is strictly DX10.

It kills me to switch to DX9 though

The NZB file tells you the overall size, its uploading fairly well. Wont be long before it complete.

You're downloading a different set of files to me then. There are two on that group atm.

Bioshock dont look that good on those screenshots, too many jaggys.

I can confirm that the 2900XT bug doesn't seem to be DX10 specific, I switched to DX9 ingame and found no difference.

wow just wow, its every bit as good as the reviews from this demo. It runs great, the gameplay is intense, looks and sounds fantastic. i could go on for ages. Never been blown away by any other game like this. roll on Friday

I thought DX10 was intended to bring major performance boosts i.e a game woud run quicker on DX10 than DX9 while looking slightly better...

From those screenshots can't see what all the fuss was about. They look virtually identical and run at similar FPS.

I'm sure AA can be increased if your rig allows for it, though...

Anyone have any test runs / benchies. Woud be intresting to see how the 2900xt fares against the 8800's in the first DX10 tittle.

Your local newsgroup server will probably have it at a decent speed, most ISP's also have a newsgroup server (e.g. Virgin Media have a newsgroup server). They vary in quality though, and you have to do a fair amount of learning how to use newsgroups.

Took ages to download it, installed, played, uninstalled.
It's not my kind of game
Ran quite nice on medium settings on my 7900gs though. (About 15-25FPS on high settings)

Runs great on HD 2900XT everything maxxed at 1920x1440, great game and can't wait for it to come out
