The ONE AND ONLY ***OFFICIAL*** Crysis thread - SPOILERS!

I'm still getting objects popping into view when moving or zooming in, annoys the hell out of me :(. Mainly bushes, grass etc but goes for buildings, huts and stuff as well.
 
I feel like a moth to the flame. My every worry about this game came true, pants AI and its definately not what was promised.

The demo ran fine in Vista64 DX10

Fully uninstalled it and installed the full game

The 64 bit version just loads to a black screen and remains there.

I wish i'd bought COD4 now :(

if you have nvidia network access manager installed, uninstall it and force v-sync of in nvidia control panel.
 
Update your DX.

Or type in the DLL in google, then go to a site to download that DLL and put it in System 32 and all should work.

Fixed the problem, the game does not like the Asus OSD software running in the background, so if anyone has an 8800Gt and the AsusOSD uninstall it or crysis will NOT run.

I keep getting this error when i try to start Crysis:

"Conflict with emulation software detected"

I just bought it today and only installed it now. I uninstalled the "arrr" version and all the MP beta and singleplayer demos just to make sure. Anyone else getting this? I've reinstalled it again and it still happens.
 
my crysis keeps closing cause xfire said it encountered a problem with crysis and made an error report, anyone else getting this? i know i could close xfire but i don't want to lol

EDIT: is there any way to turn these error reports off?

Gives me around 25fps in most places, dropping to 18 on occasions. Tried to keep as much detail and flashy effects. This is for people with high end systems, you could try using it if you don't have a high end system and then just go back in to options and turn a few things to medium to see if it's better for yours.

Ultra High? Dont you mean Very High?

No, ultra high, well that is what he calls it anyway.
He lists the console variable and then the value for each setting like low medium and high, he also has found what might be the max value to, he calls it 'Custom ultra high'

Yeah, i probably explained that very poorly but click the link and all will become clear.

do you have daemon tools or something similar installed? if so uninstall them :)
