Right click the icon, should say DX9 aswell.
I know about right clicking on the icon for dx9 or dx10 but both run in 32bit mode, im im trying to run 64bitmode with dx9
Right click the icon, should say DX9 aswell.
I feel like a moth to the flame. My every worry about this game came true, pants AI and its definately not what was promised.
The demo ran fine in Vista64 DX10
Fully uninstalled it and installed the full game
The 64 bit version just loads to a black screen and remains there.
I wish i'd bought COD4 now
ok, i got the 64bit crysis mode working but does anyone know how to run it in dx9 mode as the vista game shortcut defaults to dx10 32 bit?
cheers
You can try -DX9 flag added to the shortcut
ok, which part of the shortcut mate?
In target field X:\path to\Crysis.exe -DX9
Update your DX.
Or type in the DLL in google, then go to a site to download that DLL and put it in System 32 and all should work.
Liar liar pants on fire!
Here is a tweak guide, i am going to try the ultra high settings just to see what its like, doubt i will get over 10fps.

Ultra High? Dont you mean Very High?
Is this right
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe -DX9"
Or this?
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe-DX9"
Tryed them both, say specified target not valid
Its this for DX9 64 bit
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\Crysis.exe" -DX9
I keep getting this error when i try to start Crysis:
"Conflict with emulation software detected"
I just bought it today and only installed it now. I uninstalled the "arrr" version and all the MP beta and singleplayer demos just to make sure. Anyone else getting this? I've reinstalled it again and it still happens.
