If I recall correctly I would loose HDR lighting with shaders set to medium and I am a fan of HDR. I am going to play around this evening.Post processing and shading first

Ok, here's a pano comparison of modded cfg vs "high" (stock)
Modded CFG (DX9, HIGH)
No CFG mod (DX9 HIGH)
Notice the foliage has edge AA and a better look, water also has a more natural look to it, it also has CA. The background forest also has more hazy look, it looks more like DX10 on Veryhigh
And some other screens using custom cfg:

^ Here I threw a guy into the water and followed him in, I was surprised that Crytek had implemented real world underwater physics too! the guy floated for a bit then slowly started sinking (torso first) and his arms/legs remained higher than the rest of his body until he hit the floor, thumbs up!
The more I play this the more fun I have in SP mode, the beach is just excellent to mess around in and it's such a beautiful level.
Its not the actual guns you destroy but those mobile controller trucks.Right...
On the mission where you get air lifted out - then back in to a war zone...you are tasked with destroying 2 AA guns. Where the **** are they? I've literally been stood on the green dots and I cannot see ANYTHING? It's the same when I'm asked to destroy two arti's....
I am stuck at work and I am supposed to finish a 6pm but reading this thread has forced me to slide off home to Crysis. Its not the actual guns you destroy but those mobile controller trucks.

thanks in advance.
Well I didn't get a reply so I'll ask again. What happened to cooperation with the koreans?
I'm still stuck. I'm at the ship yard...what do I blow up? The only thing I've destroyed is the jammer controls on the ship :/
I'm stuck on the final boss
Started playing the game from the start again in the meantime until I find out how the last alien is meant to be killed. No matter what I do I get owned by the sheer amount of aliens flying at me, and I struggle with ammo.
Thats before I mention the act that on the aircraft carrier when the fights kick off my fps drops to around 1/4 of its normal pace, at around 10 fps. Got a low of 6fps yesterday

After disabling the jammer, you blow the ship up.
Use your binos to target it for an airstrike.
