The ONE AND ONLY ***OFFICIAL*** Crysis thread - SPOILERS!

Can anyone giove me some assistance....Im currently floating arround in the core of the spaceship thing....the game says..."These gateways seem to be on a timer...maybe I can slip through if I time it right". Well...slip through what...where is the gateway?
I struggling to see what to do....andf have been floating arround there for the best part of an hour:mad:

I was stuck there too, the force fields are on a timer, be patient cos they're kinda slow, when you get through to the other side there are 2 small vents on the far wall, the one on the left is an intake, go through that.
 
When I play the game I get really bad control lag. Has anyone come accross this?

This is in SP by the way, I will be playing the game, and lets say I am strafing left, it will get stuck strafing for about 4-5 seconds. During that time if I press anything else, they will happen after the lag has finished. So lets say during the lag while it is still strafing, if I press fire, jump, duck, jump, iron sight, jump. After a couple of seconds, even if I let go of everything, it will do all of those actions in order.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, what is a good config for me with this setup:

Opteron 146 @2.5 Ghz
2gb RAM
ATI X1900XT

Sad how people prefer amazing graphics over gameplay :( Give me gameplay any day. About a year ago when i was working out in Rwanda, someone sent me Darwinia .... graphics looked like VGA (16 colours), but the gameplay was superb and i couldn't stop playing it.

Once i had figured out how to use the suit efficiently in Crysis i set out to use it to its fullest and have fun with it.

Tell me, how many over you over used the cloak on the suit to avoid combat? So you could rush through the game and be the first to complete it!?

There are occasions in this game where you can use the cloak to get in to an enemy base to download what you need from a computer, then use it to get out of the base and move on to the next level...... wheres the fun in that :confused:

I took my time to play Crysis, explored and enjoyed the game, killed every enemy I came across. I didnt think it was too short, i often thought.... god when is this game going to end!?

I did think it was a bit easy though. After taking months to complete FarCry on the hardest level i thought, i'll play Crysis one level below the hardest ;)

Just wish id played it on the hardest setting now :(

It's by far most fun on Delta, and still slightly too easy even on that imo, Hard is too easy :p.
 
I'm stuck, I have to time getting into something I think in the alien cave where it's no gravity, There is pipe type thing that comes but if I get it in, I die? Just been trying for the past 30 minutes, am I doing something wrong?
 
There's a large open area, just stay and fight-probably about 15 minutes. It's the bit where two streams of energy are buzzing between points either side. A fast moving liquid stream then opens and then go into that.

Found another bug, there's a bloke in the air carrier, walk upto him and push. He moves along without side stepping or moving his legs!
 
It is close to the end, Maybe another 2 or 3 hours unless you are rushing it.

Sorry if this has been asked before, Did anyone else get absurdly low FPS during the areas with snow towards the end of the game? The only way I could proceed at a playable framerate was to put shaders to low, Rest of the game ran superbly on a mix of high/very high settings. Using a 8800GT, E6600 @ 3.6Ghz, 4GB ram, Vista x64. Tried playing the area in DX9 mode too but it was exactly the same.

Really ruined the game for me, Though I still enjoyed it massively overall :D

I had this when I was first playing it, say for about 30 minutes. The next time I loaded the game it was gone, and never came back.
 
What am I supposed to do flying the VTol? objectives say cover while they pick people up but I've killed everything and nothing is happening? last radio message I got was to clear the air for their take off but there is nothing to clear :confused:.

You probably missed an enemy out at an earlier stage. Fly back the way you came and just look around, remember it may not appear on the Map.
 
This game is just phenomenal. I'm playing it at 1680 x 1050 on medium settings and I've been getting 15-25 fps, bit slow like but I love this game.

I'm now up to the part where I fly the ship, how long left until I finish?
 
What is it with everyone asking when the game will finish. Olympics or what? On next level. So play this one slow and thorough. Ok? ;)
