Ok just to ask a question about multiplay ???

How the heck do i play online? I go through gamespy - nothing. I go through the game - nothing. Im getting a touch annoyed, can anyone offer a suggestion please.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.
Gameplay wise im running it on low with 2x7300gt's and am getting no problems at all, yes i know you can have some eye candy on with a better card but i just thought id mention that two low end cards still make it playable.

(X24800,2gig ram)

Multiplayer answer though guys before the flaming, please :D
 
I dont want to OC my kit to preserve the warranties. If anything does go wrong, I cant afford to replace anything at the moment and I need a reliable machine for my uni work. Further, its all in a shuttle case and runs pretty hot anyway. I wouldn't be able to OC it much.

The question I am asking myself now is, shall I just wait 6 months / a year to when I can get a new PC and just play Crysis then?

Click multiplayer then internet play? Or do you only have the demo
 
Just finished the game this morning, gutted about the ending:(

Next one have you taking back the island do you think...

Well to me it was mainly about pretty graphics so I would say Yes !

Hopefully, with much harder AI. Stick some vietcong style ai in on vietnam mode with no nanosuit. Then you have yourself a game.

Better still just release a few dense jungle multiplayer maps with no nanosuit and some character camo mods
 
wahey just finished crysis:) realy enjoyed it just needs some major patching to help performance and then i will play it through again:D
 
I just finished it, I recall seeing in the prerelease videos a vehicle on the coast road & a ship fires at the cliffs up ahead & a rockfall blocks the road, I didn't find that bit did I miss something out?

Has anyone "picked up" a frog while its jumping and thrown it? It like.. flies... its weird! I'll post a screeny - quite amused by that bug O.o

still waiting for the patches before i buy this. i really wanna play it without any bugs etc. looks too good to be ruined by buggy gameplay!
 
Finally received my copy yesterday!! been playing it for a few hours and it was brilliant, the graphics is stunning but incredibly demanding; I had to run 1440*900 in order to run everything high smoothly, even then it will still sometimes slows down to 20-25 fps.

Have not encountered any bug yet but performance fix in the next patch is very welcomed.
 
i cant see the gameplay being great in the next one though. you wont be fighting the koreans im guessing, as theyve pulled out. they may go back in, but you'll be on the same side. and there's probably going to be lots of fighting inside the alien ship in zero G again, and i really didnt like that at all.


i was surprised at the order in which it all happened in game though. i thought it would go:

fighting koreans
ship flash freezes some of island
you ally with koreans
enter sphere, bust up some aliens
enter the alien ship
fight the REAL aliens
destroy sphere or whatever, escape
aliens get revenge by destroying fleet
 
I could have went to a party last night, but I chose to play some more Crysis. And to my utter surprise... I finished it :| There's only two games that I've ever completed within a week - This and HL2 Ep2. Now I'm sitting here kinda depressed because I could have went to that party and then completed Crysis today in the morning.

In any case, what a great game :) I loved the ending; not as utterly epic as the Gears of War ending, but still great and I can't wait for the sequel.
The alien fights were short lived but I thought they were better than I expected.

And wtf the graphics are astonishing, especially the faces.

60FPS in in-door enviroments.. I vote this engine to be used in the next FEAR :D
