No wonder theres so many bugs, and it runs like cack etc...., as according to this, Crytek wanted to delay for a few more weeks as it wasn't ready, but good old EA forced em to release it on time to not miss the Chrismas sales.

How is Crytek gonna make Crysis run better in the space of only a few weeks let alone all the bugs ?

Excactly, you cant rewrite the whole engine in a few weeks, maybe fix a bug here and there but no way they can make the game run twice as fast in a few weeks.

Considering crytek were blabbing last year how it would be out in early 07 then mid 07 they've had more than enough time to remove their thumbs from their asses and get it out. If crytek had their way this game still wouldn't be out, virtually everytime they were interviewed last year it was early 07 then it changed to later and later and later. Why bother announcing any dates at all?

Using a text editor program go to the 'crysisgameconfig' directory abd find the 'diff_easy.cfg', 'diff_normal.cfg', 'diff_hard.cfg' or 'diff_bauer.cfg' files and edit them to change game play on the Easy, Normal, Hard or Bauer difficulty setting. This is done by inserting the following lines (without the quotes) at the end of the file and saving it. It is advised that before you begin this procedure that you create a backup file of any files you want to edit.

Unlock God Mode:
Type the line 'g_godMode = 1'. When this password has been enabled your health armour will automatically replenish when it reaches '0' and you will not die.

Unlimited Ammo:
Type the line 'i_unlimitedammo = 1'.

Enemies Ignore You:
Type the line 'ai_IgnorePlayer = 1'.

Carry Unlimited Number of Weapons:
Type the line 'i_noweaponlimit = 1'.


These lines can also be edited to enable the desired effect in the game.

No Energy Loss:
Type the line 'g_suitCloakEnergyDrainAdjuster = 0'.

No Energy Cost:
Type the line 'g_suitRecoilEnergyCost = 0'.

Run Faster:
Type the line 'g_suitSpeedMult = 2.85'.

More Armour Points:
Type the line 'g_suitArmorHealthValue = 900.0'.

Set Health Regen Time to 0:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitHealthRegenTime = 0'.

Instant Health Regen:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTime = 0'.

Instant Health Regen when Moving:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTimeMoving = 0'.

Instant Energy when Moving:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeTimeArmorMoving = 0'.

Set Regen Time when Walking to 0:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitHealthRegenTimeMoving = 0'.

Do Not Wait Until Energy Regen Starts:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeDelay = 0'.

Set Energy Regen Time to 0:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeTime = 0'.

No Waiting until Regen Starts:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitHealthRegenDelay = 0'.

Instant Energy:
Type the line 'g_playerSuitEnergyRechargeTimeArmor = 0'.

Extra Health:
Type the line 'g_playerHealthValue = 900.0'.

Set Difficulty (1-4, 4 is most difficult):
Type the line 'g_difficultyLevel = 1'.

I heard a funny story that Crysis was actually going to be about Bob the Builder's quest to make the best fried egg sandwich ever, but EA said that won't do and made it in to a South Koreon/alien shoot 'em up! DAMN MONEY GRABBERS :mad:
 
Found an amusing trick to hit buildings or whatever from the oposite direction with a rocket.

Face a building at a distance & fire the rocket & instantly spin right round to face the building again & the rocket will hit it from above or behind, good for confusing the enemy try it lol,
 
Could someone post Very High/High system.cfg for Crysis or repost i cant seem to find (google) or here, want to see that sexy looking water and very high textures again :<
