you could have atleast gone back to the island, and then on the way get attacked, crash into the island - leaving us thinking are they dead or are they still alive?

Not just saying 'lwts go back and get him' - credits - cry!
 
I goped they would not have levels and all the loading, should have just had one big island we could explore and go around.

that is hoping for WAY too much and you know it. and there was hardly 'all the loading' you imply there was. each level is pretty massive, and its not linear at all. ive played it through roughly 3 times now (not from start to finish straight) and almost every time now ive gone about doing the mission a different way, or taking a totally different route.

of course it would be awesome to have a 20km squared island chain to go and explore, but crysis is a demanding game already, adding several billion more objects and entities isnt going to help on current gen hardware
 
Armed Assault already did that, you had 1 massive island to explore but by doing that they sacrificed the level of details and the texture resolutions. It looked crap and run like ****
 
I wanted to see how different/better Crysis looked to FarCry so I took some comparison shots of both, guess which is Crysis and which is FarCry :D



 
Lots of posts on the net wanting to hear the bots talk Korean which is only available in Delta mode & also change difficulty without starting a new game.

Simply go to game config & if your presently playing on normal then select 'diff_normal' & click to rename it & add 1 so its 'diff_normal1' this then disables it

then rename diff_bauer to 'diff_normal ' & all your savegames will now be on delta with Korean language & no grenade warnings etc & other changes :p
 
Im stuck on his bloody fly the vtol mission, worst controls ive EVER used to fly something. Nothing intuitive about them whatsoever. :mad:

or just go to the difficulty you want and change

"ai_UseAlternativeReadability = 1" to "ai_UseAlternativeReadability = 0"

0 = korean
1 = english

^ agrees completely.

Though on the 2nd time I played it I played on easy, because I just wanted to have fun, but I couldn't stand the crappy accent, so I changed it using what I wrote above. Weird that it doesnt work for some people.
