Not shipped for me so that's the last time I use these guys. I have been pre-ordering with them for years and I always received games a day early, but the last month they have let me down twice. Normally this would not be a big deal, but this is Crisis, so it is.

Hmmm, I can't decide whether to get the Special Edition version or not. What's everyone else getting?
Special edition is pants- it's basically all the screenshots that you can find on any fan website and a few unseen peices of concept art. Oh and also a crappy making of DVD.

Why did you get a refund, which version did you order?
I pre-ordered the special edition digital download from the ea website. I got a refund because I pre-ordered the game under the premise that i'd be getting it unlocked on the 14th like everyone else, they left out the little detail that people in the UK won't get it til the 16th. I emailed their warranty department told them I wasn't happy and got a refund. Won't ever be using EA again

you also get the car if u buy if from a certain high street shop i think them and ea have the rights to the special edition
Ordered monday and still not despatched.
I'm gutted that the place in Basingstoke hasn't despatched mine, it should have gone today (or even better yesterday as they did with my last two orders), but nothing so far, no email and the site shows nothing new.
Still not sure whether there is any point me getting this as tbh it doesn't look great on my system..

In the demo at native res on medium it rearely gets above 20fps, and combat is frustrating. Can't say it looks all that amazing on medium either, the foilage is nice though, but everything isn't great.
And I'm not upgrading, too damn expensive.

hmm, mine should have been dispatched today, as i ordered it on 2 day post (which is free from a certain highstreet/online retailer) but it hasn't i can only hope i just haven't had the email to confirm its dispach yet

Gonna give the demo one more whirl as ive just reinstalled my vista os on a raid array (rma'd and just got back my new replacement raptor from western digital.).

just done this for another thread, sure it wont hurt posting it in here showing what a 'old' top end pc can do.
cpu @ 3.4, gpu's at 621/1010, 2 ig of XMS2 6400C4 and im now using the bfg 680i mobo... should rele update my sig lol
as you can see, i done 2 runs for loadup on the first ones.
also, thats all settings max in dx9 (all high) 4xaa @ 1600x1200 on xp pro 32 using beta drivers 169.09.
please tell me its ok lol.
