I'm not the one here willing to throw Ukraine under the bus because he's scared of Putin's words. 1939 is calling Roar, the appeasers of the past are showing their support for you.

I don't want Musk to own Twitter because he might be a great engineer but he's an idiot and a petty man child in so many ways and something with the power of a platform like Twitter shouldn't be in such hands. Twitter is currently owned by its shareholders, its board of directors have a responsibility to those shareholders to make it as profitable as possible, which requires it to appeal to the public at large and so then companies wanting to advertise their products on it. Yes they got rid of some extremist content because users were leaving and so were advertisers. If you want such content 4chan/8chan are out there, as is Gab, Parlour and this place I think you probably already love https://patriots.win/ its all about your favourite president and his cult.

I don't buy the premise that nuclear war risk has risen to a point that it is a concern because MAD. Has that suddenly disappeared? Oh are the experts saying we are going to have a nuclear war so we should throw Ukraine under the bus and let Russia steamroller over it? Who are these experts you speak of? Is it the likes of Michael Flynn? Sorry but I prefer the experts that don't say that but you feel free to join Roar under his stairs if the world is too scary for you.

It's all black and white for you isn't it. No one is saying throw Ukraine under the bus but if the Ukrainians and anybody else think they will regain control of Crimea and Russia will just turn the other cheek then that's very naive thinking.

Yeah you listen to those experts you agree with it and ignore the ones you don't, if it makes it easier for you to sleep at night go for it.

I guess Americans constantly warning Russia not to go nuclear is just for lols.

Ukraine want all land back including Crimea, if the Russians loose what they annexed recently they could spout some BS about the special military operation being over and terrorists eliminated.

They can't do the same for Crimea, that would be where the potential for nuclear starts.

Elon has tweeted that Russia should keep Crimea and all the oblasts that they have taken. Yes he said there should be referendums in those seized oblasts but as Russia has killed/deported many of the citizens who want to remain part of Ukraine and moved in Russians to replace them, those referendums are a forgone conclusion. So yes Musk and those that support his stance are throwing Ukraine under the bus. Lets not forget he suggested handing over part of Taiwan to the China as well. He seems very happy to just carve up countries if it keeps him safe and his businesses profitable.

Americas is doing the sensible and responsible thing by saying that to the public. If they say there is no chance of it happening and the rhetoric builds up they'll have to backtrack which not only makes them look stupid but comes with a political cost and can cause panic. By saying of course it could happen but if Putin does it he will regret it they look they are taking it seriously and are in control. Does that really need to be spelled out?

Why don't you sent this in a letter to the next prime minister, to the EU leaders, to Biden, so that they know this as their expertise seems to be that they keep helping Ukraine achieve their goals, and then you can stop chatting about this in an Elon Musk thread.

Mean while in reality Musk simply said this is likely the outcome, Colonel_Klinck with his hate tinted glasses simply interprets the Tweet in whatever way suits him the best, or read the Tweet as it was reported in some weird left wing news group and didn't bother to read it himself


This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end – just a question of how many die before then

Yes he posted that in a further tweet. He could have added it to the original. And it doesn't change what he said. He is saying Ukraine should cave and hand over large parts of the country to appease Putin. What happens in 5 years when Putin has built up his forces again and comes back for more? Should they just hand over that land as well? Why not just hand over the whole country to please the likes of you and Musk, keep Putin happy. Where next? At what point is enough enough?

I'm on Twitter, I follow Musk so why would I need to read about it anywhere? If you think its only the left that has major problems with Musk and his misguided comments on geo politics you need to broaden your reading.

I'm sure Taiwan were chuffed to hear him annexing part of their country to China.
 
..announced declining google/meta/youtube/usoft profits today so Elon's investment will have similarly declining revenue .
and after TikTok has been criticized for groomimg , now, roblox (had never heard of it) for grooming/self-harming/gambling problems
