Maybe, I mean he seemingly did want to get out of it or at least get a discount as tech stocks started taking a hit... though he's also likely got plans to try and streamline things and increase profitability.

Fairly obvious that unbanning him would mean an immediate jump in revenue thus making it appear like he's made Twitter 'successful' due to his purchase, but the cesspool that twitter already is would culminate eventually so what's the point?

I possible without some serious increase and serious change. I doubt trump really made that much of a difference to their revenue, also bringing indirectly issues with advertisers wanting to appear on a platform that has trump and his followers.

I'm sure traffic will rise with Trump and the likes of Alex Jones being let back on so he probably hopes ad revenue will rise. However there were reports that advertisers were pulling business from Twitter because it got so toxic, so letting the likes of Jones back on might have the opposite effect.

Thats not the point is it. He has also said he wouldn't return anyway. His own platform has also had hundreds of millions of dollars pumped into it.
Nope, it isn't, it's mostly advertising (a few billion) selling data is like a few hundred million in comparison. The question was about Trump though not selling data.
Who cares about Truth social though, if he's running for President in 2024 he'll want to be on Twitter, so you may as well have your melt down about that now
