I should have said there is technically no free speech in the most pure form.
Though in the US, in theory, had the most free speech as at one time you could say anything about anybody. Though in recent years this is being challenged with all the hate speech ideology.
If you make a death threat against someone online then you should be able to do that. But you should also be accountable for it as it is against the law. When I say accountable I mean you should be prepared to defend it if challenged.
Twitter isn't legally responsible for anything on its website because it has the protection of section 230. In my view they should add a requirement that if any law enforcement should request details of data of someone who is posting illegal material then the social media companies should be required to comply with the request within a set amount of days or be fined.
The problem we have today by these social media companies, as well as the banks and payment systems, are blocking legal speech that isn't breaking any law.
