can't thy just ban those 1500 re-tweeters and 10K likers for being of low IQ, however, they maybe the best members if they are easily susceptible to advertising

A lettuce would currently be doing a better job of running Twitter than Musk.

It is a fundamental error to believe that because someone has succeeded and done things well in the past that they therefore must be handling the current situation well. I don’t doubt that Musk has done well in the past, or that some of the things he's done have been genuinely positive but you don't need any kind of deep knowledge or understanding to see what a mess he's making of this, you just need to pay attention.

I’m minded of Linus Pauling, the only person in history to win two unshared Nobel Prizes (one for chemistry, the other for peace).

He was undoubtedly a genius, (the two Nobel prizes were just a couple of his many achievements), but Pauling would go on to champion high doses of vitamin C as a cure for just about everything, including cancer. It became an obsession for him and ultimately ruined his reputation, his career, and his life.

Despite his successes, he well-and-truly **** the bed when it came to megadosing Vitamin-C, but his hubris wouldn’t let him accept his mistake. Instead of conceding that he had made an error, he doubled-down time and again until he became a laughing stock.

It just goes to show that, no matter how successful a person is in one field, it doesn’t guarantee they will succeed elsewhere.

running for the door when told to sign off this stack of BS :p

All said **** this.

To add to the list.

By his own twitter: Former Head of Trust & Safety at @Twitter

Up til a couple of days ago he was attempting to reassure the users there was no need to panic.

I don't want him to fail, I love Twitter. Laughing at all this though is fun though.

I kind of do.

Admittedly I only use Twitter to keep up with Forest team news so I don't really care whether it exists or not personally but see that I'm not typical in that respect.

But he basically stands for, or is, a lot of things I think are wrong with the world, seeing him fail would be great.
